Good afternoon ladies! Not too much happening here. Getting ready for my mini-getaway tomorrow. Driving up to Rochester to spend the night at my sister's new place. Its about 3 hours, which isn't too bad. Getting my audiobooks ready!

D...did you get any storms last night? How did DS do?

DH took the boys to the ocean, Hampton Beach. They won't get back until late afternoon/evening. I've been catching up on my DVR shows. It's been wonderful!

D&DDisney Hope the storm wasn't too bad. Our news this am mentioned tornadoes in Wisconsin..I hope they weren't anywhere close to you.

Just added up our expenses for our TK trip..$2700! That includes the campgrounds that we had already paid for. So we averaged $1,000 a week. I have to try harder to get DH to do picnic lunches. The biggest expense was gas, of course, cost us $900 for the 3 weeks.

Do you think that was bad for your trip? It sounds good to me...especially for all that you covered. I guess with most triops, when you get home you can see where you could have saved but it was still worth it. I'm really glad we were able to hook up at Hershey...I kept saying to Kitty how bad I felt not being able to contact you. I admire your coaster rides. I tell my friends here how you looked at the cup and checked them off...much braver than I am!

Livin- I guess I need to call your news company and lodge a formal complaint. Walter IS the cutest baby and HE SHOULD win. What exactly is the problem...why all this "voting" stuff??? Don't they realize they are putting our dear Walter under unnecessary stress? Well, I guess I will just have to keep voting...geezze. (he really is the cutest baby on there btw)

Hey Pepper---it's too hot for me to be at the beach. I would burn up.l My cousins always made fun of me wraping up. I have to agree about our little Walter. You should have seen him in person...just the sweetest thing. He loved his aunties and let us make a big deal over him. He just looked at us and smiled.

LOL, are you what my DD would refer to as a "shoobie"? (People who wear shoes on the beach and 'cover up'. Of course, who will have the last laugh when you have healthy skin right?

Storms were mostly north of us, but pretty bad again non the less. DH and I stayed up til 2am just watching TV for any warnings. But all we got here was t-storms and rain. Kids slept in our room and did okay.
A lot of the cities north of us got 5inches of rain in like 2hours. Lots of flooding.
