Good morning! Looks like I am a few pages behind! So, let's see....
It's a beautiful day outside here this morning. No doubt in a few hours it will be hotter than blue blazes. Summer weather has arrived here in Texas!
Jo, I hope things with Jackie have calmed down. I still have to point out to my son every now and again that he is being a horses rear thanks to his know it all teenage brain. Guess that's just part of what we get for becoming parents.
Feel better soon!
Kitty, loved your new look! Unique indeed. Gave me a good laugh and at least you still kept your sense of humor while you were feeling like crap. Hope your sinuses have straightened up. Mine never gave me problems until I was
older too.
Glad you and your BF made up. Men! There is no figuring them out! Bet they say the same thing about us too.
Mine is another of those who thinks he is always right. Good thing we know better!

Oh, and I am not a big crier either but if I ever do he had better watch out. I cry when I get extremely mad which is so aggravating because do you know how hard it is to be taken seriously when you are bawling like a baby? Believe me by that time I am way past wanting any sympathy! Thankfully, we just don't fight too much. I have a harder time with my DD. She is way more hard headed than anyone else in our family!
Your mention of dry ice reminded me of something funny that happened last week. Got my very first sample to try for one of those nifty surveys! It was something frozen so it arrived on dry ice. I read all the instructions about how to be very careful when handling the dry ice. I put it out on the porch to be safe and out of reach of little hands and also to let it finish melting. Then when DH comes in for lunch he's like "Oh, boy! Dry ice! Bring it in here!" and then he proceeds to demonstrate what you can do with it. Such a big kid! Anyway, all turned out well. No permanent damage suffered by anyone. Did you know that that stuff is 109 degrees below zero? That's pretty darn cold!
I love flan or as far as that goes any other custardy type dessert! Think I will pass on the grasshopper pie though.
DL55, how's the new home project going? I can't even get the normal things I need to do done lately much less any new projects. Could you send a little motivational pixie dust my way?

It may actually be hotter where you are than here... but probably not by much.
Pikester, sounds like you are giving your DS good advice when it comes to not being self centered in his conversations.
Loved the Igor/Dr. Frankenstein conversation.
LITC, look at that little Walter! Well, not maybe not so little any more but you know what I mean. Gosh, he just keeps getting cuter! Give him a squeeze for me.
Hope you got the car situation squared away.
D&D, glad you have been enjoying the great outdoors! Too bad you still haven't gotten a good answer about your tummy problems. Hope they solve the mystery soon!
M&N, you are so right about kids. Fear is probably the only thing that kept me from doing even more stupid things as a kid. My daddy was really scary!

Glad the storm didn't do too much damage.
Ev, loved the Princess golfer pictures on FB! Glad you had a good time. Will send a little prayer your way for your surgery.
Kerrie, hope you are over the morning sickness and nose bleeds soon. Don't blame you for not wanting to think about the teen years! You could be like my DH and just pray for senility during that time.
pepperw23, hope you are having a great trip!
