BKMETV, your trip sounds like so much fun. We used to have an rv, but not a driver, 5th wheel, then a bumper pull. Those were some of our favorite vacations. I miss having an rv. But, I don't miss the payments.

Pepper, congrats on the trip! I would have to take a mother and daughter and daughter and daughter and daughter trip.

Good morning. I did my good deed and took my 2nd mom to her eye dr appointment. She was worried that her cataract had grown but things were good. The dr said she had great eyes for 83!

Great about the mom/daughter trip Pepper---but maybe you need to stay away from our headline seeking TKers! Their goal is to be the topic of a DIS thread! (Maybe you can write it!)

Glad the camp last night was peaceful...keep away from the bad weather.

BTW---It is never too late to complain to Disney is it? After all, you need to be home for a while and read how wonderfully others were treated to realize you were mistreated! Just say you read on the DIS...

Someone told me about hungrygirl.com. They found out about it from WW. They have good low cal recipes. Yum Yum Brownie Muffins--box devil's food cake and can of pumpkin! I also copied a banana creme pie recipe. I really just looked very quickly. You can sign up for emails.

DH wussed out and put on the AC yesterday. Temps are in the high 80s/low 90s.

Do you put corn in the soup? Chicken corn soup is my favorite...that's why I love going to eat at Bird-In-Hand. They always have it. I think they use creamed corn and regular corn.

Good afternoon ladies! My scans on both my laptop and netbook didn't find anything, but I still don't trust it. I'll just keep running scans daily and hopefully it'll resolve.

Kerrie...oh goodness. Of course, what matters most is a beautiful healthy baby (or babies....) born on December 9th! We have a tradition to keep up here! My brother was a twin and he had twins...so I'm nervous what exactly my uterus can cook up. But at my age, it may be better to get them all done at once too. Hope the doctor's appointment went well.

M&N...you are so good to take your 2nd mom to her appointment. Hope your allergies ease up. I have seasonal allergies too, but so far it hasn't been so bad. But we also haven't had a stretch of good weather, so we'll have to see how I feel next week.

I just came back from running errands. And shopping. It was so good! My favorite pens were on sale at Staples, so I was there bright and early to score them....usually these pens are like 4/$5, but they write so smoothly (which is important when you're left handed so you don't smudge) and they were on sale 24/$5! I'm all set for note taking.

My coupon booklet was on fire too. I picked up 2 shirts at Express for my sister (3.49 after coupon), two panties at Victoria's Secret (free after coupons) and 6 books at Borders (1.08 after coupon). Fashion Bug was having an insane sale $5 jeans--they're getting rid of the old sizing system so they have to get rid of the old ones. I had a coupon for $20/$50, so I got 10 pairs of jeans for $30 plus a $20 coupon for next time. All my nieces are getting jeans for Christmas. They're not so picky in the jean department, its the tee shirts and hoodies that have to be "cool". NY&Co. have their $30 off $50 sale, so I'm all set with my tee shirts for the summer.

Very excited overall AND its still gorgeous out! I got my laundry on the line and I have all the windows open airing out the house. I have a nice ice tea next to me. All is good in the world....

I have a medical question for my TKer buddies...
Lately, I have been getting sick after I eat. I feel like I've eaten a complete Thanksgiving dinner when all I had was a sandwich and fruit. Not sure if its indigestion or what. Some times its so bad that I feel like its taking my breath away. Yikes! I have a Dr. appt. for Monday but I'm really wondering whats going on. Never had this before. Seems like all I can eat is soup w/o feeling nauseous or overly full. Anyone ever have this or something like it? I have a high tolerance for pain and discomfort, but this is really - OUCH!!

Ev - What does a gall bladder attack feel like? Not sure if its that either.

It really stinks getting old.

D...do you always feel the nausea? Or just a feeling of fullness? Any change of bowel habits? What kind of pain is it? Is it just your tummy or does it go other places? What eases the pain--changes in position, drinking/eating, lying down?

Kinda feels like I swallowed a big rock and its just sitting there in my stomach right under my ribs. Its painful if I press on the stomach too.
Then I get super tired and just want to sleep. No change if move or change positions.

Just feels like I can't digest anything.

I would say a feeling of fullness and intense pain after eating could very well be an issue with the gall bladder. Your gall bladder stores all these enzymes that are let loose when you eat, its job to help break down some of the food into smaller bits so you can digest it easier. You could have stones. The stones are blocking the exit of those enzymes and the gall bladder is pushing against it, trying to force the enzymes out, causing pain. And if the gall bladder can't empty, its getting pretty full and that may cause a feeling of fullness.

A sense of quick fullness could also be a abdominal hernia. Did you recently lift something or pull something heavy? Or did you have a CS with DS? There's a little gap in the muscle in your abdomen and some of the inside stuff gets caught in it and that's why you feel full.

If you were running a fever and the pain was moving around, I'd consider you appendix...that's ususally assoicated with intense pain.

Any history of past abdominal surgery? It could be adhesions.

Ultimately, the best thing is to consult your doctor. But if for any reason you have a fever or the pain is just unbearable, head to the ER, ok? I can't give you any definitive answers without labs or a physical, there are just some of the "most likely" scenarios.

Feel better and if you need to sleep--do it! Your body is telling you something.

Oh, I forgot to add pancreatitis to the list. Sometimes the pancreas gets infected and can't get rid of its enzymes too...that would cause pain and nausea. But you'd probably be running a fever too.

LOVE my darling fiance so much more. Because I felt to bummed over not being able to go to Hershey he said we could plan a weekend trip to Frankenmeuth or Traverse City/Great Wolf Lodge.

D&D, I honestly am of no help. It does sound awful and I hope the dr is able to help you quickly.

Kitty, I am in awe of you. Time to start paying attention and learn to save and spend like you! I'm completely impressed.

My doctor appt went well. The baby looks beautiful. The dr has one of those 3d or 4d (I don't remember which) ultrasound machines and we were able to get a great shot of the little one. Yes, only 1. Even though I'm already getting pretty big and on Monday the baby was higher than expected, I'm actually a week behind. The new due date is Dec. 16. But don't give up on the 9th, yet. All my kids have been early. Proof that I'm getting big, I'm 10 weeks, nauseous, and have still managed to gain 8lbs.

I'm extremely nervous about getting them on. Trying to figure out some good recipies to have for food. And trying to figure out how to video tape the event effectively. Any tips would be great!

D&D, I can't offer any opinions about what could be wrong but I will agree with MK that if the pain gets worse, you go visit the emergency room.

MK, I'm glad nothing came up on the computer scans. And I see you've been wearing your Queen of Bargain shopping crown proudly.

Kerrie, glad your appointment went well today. Those 3-D ultrasounds are cool. I had a couple with my last daughter and it was amazing how they looked.

DL55, AC already! I've only worn shorts one day so far this year. It was in the 80's today and I was till comfortable in jeans.

I highly recommend rentals...we have seen so many of them during our trip and all looked great.

When my GB acts up its like someone in stabbing me right under my breast bone...the first time I ended up at emerg and they hooked me up to all the heart stuff to make sure I wan't having a heart attack. The pain is about on par with labour...knocks you right off you're feet.

Today would have been my parent's Golden Wedding Anniversary...my mom seems to be holding up pretty well (my Dad passed 5 years ago)

Thanks for the info Kitty! I do have an appt. for Monday so hopefully I'll know then. Its not stabbing pains just this awful feeling of being too full like my stomach is going to burst. Probably stress related.

And...to add to my stress, our water heater decided to start leaking tonight. Always on a Friday night after hours right. Just never a dull moment. Cold showers for all tomorrow!!!!

Ev- on your parents anniversary. Glad your mom is doing okay. Anniversaries can be so hard.

Kerrie - I LOVE the baby's new due date (my b-day) I'm for the 16th.

Lilmiss - Don't fret too much about braces. I can remember being sore for a few days but not too bad. Just missed eating apples (not sliced) chewing gum, and eating other hard foods.

We may have to turn our air on this weekend if it gets to 90s like they are saying it will. I'll believe it when I see it.
