Did you know the first successful goldfish farm in the United States was opened in Martinsville, Indiana, in 1899.

I wonder if you can visit it? I know my kids would love to see something like that.

I'll have to tell the kids in the morning. DD10 loves fish. She recently sold her dirt bike to start a saltwater fish tank. Not exactly goldfish, but I'm sure she'd be interested none the less.

As for jumping off decks, DH would jump off his house as a child. Thankfully, none of ours have tried. The closest they've come is wanting to throw toys on the roof to watch them slide off. I said no. DH said don't hit the windows.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I hope you all have a beautiful day. I stepped on the scale this morning and I have officially lost 20 pounds!!! I am so excited!! Since I still refuse to give up on the free dining until the very last room is sold I gotta keep going.


So I went to my first Rodeo yesterday. That was...different. To be honest I am not 100% sure how okay with it I was. I am not an activist or anything.but I dunno. I mean the "buckin' horses were neat to see and they seemed to be having fun (the horses), but when they put a little baby cow out there and let what must have been 100 children chase it I was a tad horrified for the little cow. . I know it is all in good fun. I guess all I am saying is if I were a baby cow the rodeo would not be the place for me!

Lithtech!!! Hi!!!! Don't feel bad, I dropped off the face of the earth for a while too. But I missed everyone and I am back now.

Jo- No more 90. Today is going to be in the 60's.

MK- Is that the same birdseye that is the company? I like Birdseye corn....yum!!!

SCHBR- We used to jump out of our second floor window on to mattresses (or anything we could find thrown away that was soft). Good times good times. Who would know that I would get older and be so afraid of heights?

Pike- I laughed so hard when I read about the garbage bag over your head.

BK- How is my little buddy doing? I can't believe Casey is almost there.
