TV coverage starts at 1pm but I'll probably watch the race on the computer. The kids have been asking to play Wii since they can't go outside today.

Raven was extemely sweet and really cool. She was so down to earth and easy to talk to. Not at all intimidating.

I can definitely see how it would be hard to fall asleep on the plane with 4 kids.
18 hours is pretty close to what it takes to drive to WDW from where I live. We usually do the drive in 1.5 days straight.

Hey ladies...still no Chi-Chi. I felt kinda bad with all that's going on in the world, praying for a lost cat in church, but I think God understands.

A friend of mine just got back from vacation and told me the worst story. She was crying even telling it, that's how traumatized she is. After visiting the Phils, she went on to Malaysia, where she was going to meet her niece. Her niece was delayed a few days in arrival, so she went to Kuala Lampur by herself. She landed and went to the hotel by taxi at night. The next morning, some fake diplomats came to her door, saying she was flagged at the airport. They searched her room and took all her personal belongings. She had hidden her passpost and wallet, so they didn't get those.

They told her that she was being accused of smuggling illegal items into the country, although after a search they couldn't find anything. They told her not to leave the hotel until they came back to clear her. Frantic, she called her husband who called the US embassy, who told him this is a common scam. The embassy came and escorted her to a new hotel until she could be flown out on the next available flight. They even disguised her upon leaving the hotel, saying that often these criminals have eyes in the hotels to monitor what the guests were doing.

Did anyone see that movie Taken? Its just like that. SOOOO scary. I'm just glad that she's back and ok.

thats so horrible.. i would hope she would get reimburished for all the stuff of hers they took? or is that hoping too much?

i really dont understand how some people act nowadays, just because someone is in a different country something bad has to happen.. its so wrong..

I don't think its necessarily a foreign country issue. Tourists are easy prey wherever they go. Especially women travelling by themselves. They have to be super careful.

Lily, I remember what the dining hall experience was. Just think of all the yummy food you'll be having at Disney next week!

it is horrible, but sadly its true. we have cats around our house all the time, we feed them outside. And Baby (our alpha cat) always starts growling at another cat she sees outside, unless its Precious ( a former house resisdent cat, but now outdoor cat).

the only one of that list that seems unlikely is the cat napper thing.. yeah.. hehe.. not likely..
