hey there Gina, glad you found us!

I think for a first timer, maybe you could plan a shorter trip. It may be overwhelming for him. I think $2400 isn't too bad, but it depends on how much of a budget he has. It may be a big chunk of his savings...

like i said i offered to pay that part.. he had to pay for food and gas...

he's been to disneyland, just not the world..

thats pretty expensive for two people...I dunno, maybe not. what about waiting for specials? did you get one?

jenn...I don't know if you're getting upset trying to explain this, but we're just trying to help you and if we don't know the details, its kinda hard. Even if he just has to pay for food and gas, maybe he doesn't know how to budget for two weeks of that for two people. I guess you'll really have to sit down and find out what his concerns and reservations are and then you can explain your experience with Disney.

I wish I had more smilie options...lol. hi woman! tell you what. I will make a deal with you jenn.

You give me 500 dollars and I will make him admit he is wrong. that is a savings of 700! imagine how much plastic stuff that buys there..lol

where did Jenn go? I hope our questions didn't upset her. was just joining in the conversation..didn't know all the details.popcorn::

no im not getting upset.. why would i?

he just said the 1200 was too much.. and i kept telling him it was well worth it.. so now i want to prove it to him and thats why i offered to pay for all of it..

and no..i want to go with him thank you..

and this is planning for next year's trip.. not this year so there are no specials out yet.. i cant even book it.. so specials dont even come into the picture..

well that's even better. There may be specials offered and the vacation price could come down significantly. Or even, free dining!

i havnet used the disney dining yet, but we are this year.. but i like a bit more freedom, cuz i never know what i will be in the mood for .. so i just assume not to the get dining, unless its free, which i doubt, but ya never know..

they seemed to offer free dining a lot this year. We've gone during free dinng twice now and really enjoyed it. I made sure to get menus and make sure there was a wide enough variety for BF (he's not very adventurous) but just using the quick service meals was a lot of fun!

i dont eat meat so i have to look at the menus beforehand too

I'll take a little Baileys in my coffee, if you have it. I'm really bad with wine. Get tipsy way too fast!
