Tickets to see Santana go on sale on Saturday. I want to go, but at this rate I'll be at a concert every weekend in July. I keep going back and forth on this.

I dyed my hair last night. The last time I did it was November, so it was way overdue. I used this dye called Perfect 10 and it worked really well. My roots are super dark, but it took me to pleasant auburn. It'll lighten over the next few days (fine with me!) but I think I'll use this product again. Super easy and not too messy!

All the talk of my husband David Cook gave me vivid dreams. (no, not THAT kind!). I dreamed I was taking exams and kept running out of paper. My high school boyfriend was there, and I was wearing his Planet of the Apes sweatshirt. Don't ask, I don't know. Can't get myself so worked up again...it leads to a poor night's sleep!

I have no definite plans for Scotland...its more of a fantasy. But I don't even know where to start shopping for a decent fare. I do know that Newark has a direct flight to Edinburgh, which would be great.

I could prolly meet you for lunch on the 30th...but that evening I have a date with Sting! Even the next day would be good for me too...

Yeah, that EWR-EDI flight is great. Arrives late enough in the morning that your body doesn't feel like it got up at 2 am!!

Lunch on the 30th could work. I'll prolly take DS to dinner anyway, so we'll have to see what we can do. Sting, huh? Does his wife know about this date?? The next day won't work. Have to pick up DD right at 9 and hurry home to do a quick turnaround for our flight to Ireland!

Wendy, how long are you going on vacation for?

One week in Ireland and 10 days in Turkey. We're gone for 20 days including travel.

Did you all hear some high pitched screaming? And not from MK either.

Tomorrow is the Disney on Ice show that we bought tickets for a long time ago for DD6's birthday. We just told them that we are going. Oh my goodness, I don't think they have been this excited in a long time.

Sorry that I've been rather quiet lately. I'm just so very tired. Plus we're preparing for my mom's arrival, which is on Saturday...then it'll be a bit before I'm on here regularly again. She'll be here for two weeks and the baby will be here Tuesday. But I promise to pop in and say hi!

OK I've decided there are 3 children in my house...one of them being 50!!

DH has always wanted to drive a RV on a vacation...so hence our trip west. He basically said do what we did at Disney...you plan it all just surprise me. Fine. Now he keeps coming up with fun things we can do. This week I've already fretted about spending $400 on Cirque tickets so DH just calls from work wondering how long we are at the Grand Canyon (we are taking the train in so will be on a schedule) because he thinks it would be great to fly through the canyon neither in a small plane or helicopter...are you kidding me!! Not a chance in hell I'm doing that let alone paying someone $150 to do it!!! MEN!!

Ev, men are strange creatures, aren't they? They think its so easy to plan, yet they don't want to do it. Helicopter rides are one of those things that sound really cool when you tell it to someone else, but actually getting into one...I don't know about that!

Last trip, BF decided on the second to last day that he wanted to spend out last day at Magic Kingdom. This after I had bugged him for months about what he wanted to do on vacation. I gave up my ressie at Le Cellier for him. But I get to hold it over his head for eternity.

Mary, I was thinking about you. Just rest up and get ready for Tuesday! We'll still be around here, don't you worry. But if you do get a chance, just drop us a line once in a while to let us know how you are....if I don't see you again, good luck!

Even if it fell on deaf ears, you will definitely not get any sort of resolution if you don't try. Perhaps enough of these incidents with other workers will demonstrate that the present employee model is not working. Eventually it will affect productivity and profit.
