Thanks pepper! I spend so much time in the car I have to make it cute. But I think I'm the only one that enjoys all the pink-ness of it.

When I was coming out of the pharmacy earlier, I was walking to my car and there was a minivan VERY VERY close to the driver's side. A young girl was driving and her mom was yelling at her. She did almost hit my car. I kinda felt bad for her until I heard her mom saying that she shouldn't be speeding in the parking lot anyway. I totally agree. People are monsters in the parking lot.

yeah sadly, that kind of stuff happens alot. Like i work on the grocery side, and i have to bin everything on that side myself, aisle 4,5,6, 7, 8,9, then snack, chemicals, paper goods, waterhole, and infants... by myself. .THEN have to go over and help the gm side, where everyone else gets sent to help. Yet i have to fight for even a few mins of help... its not right..

I feel bad for you, that's a lot of work for one person. How is that possible? How can you be expected to do so much on one shift? Will they hire more help for the summer?

I know around here, especially with the summer people, Walmart gets trashed during the day. Nighttime must be nuts trying to get everything organized and ready for the next day.

oh thats not even half of it... i have to bin all that AFTER i stocked an aisle by myself..

no they are too stinking cheap to hire the help we need, we have been lacking for a couple years now, we have lost so many ppl, and they have hired uh.. 1 person
and in the last year alone, we've lost, um tater died, janet retired, bugsy and peggy fired, 2 cashiers fired, support manager went to days.. and they have hired 1 person to replace all those..

most people have to do 2 or more departments.. its horrible

Good news! .... see new ticker.... It looks like we are going to be able to go to Disneyland this year after all.
Ya'll are going to have to get me up to date. Who around here has vacations coming up? And, isn't the Hershey meet right on the horizon?

Going on vacation next month but not to Disney...we are heading your way to CO, AZ and Vegas.

I never even thought about babies needing milk on a trip! If you get back late from a park, where do you get milk? (I guess if you have a little one you wouldn't be out so late...) Do you pack ahead of time? Have you done anything?

We always rent a car. We usually make a stop at Target and buy a styro cooler that we keep filled with ice. I almost always need something to drink in the middle of the night so I like to have something cold on hand. I try to ask someone the night before we leave if they'd like the styro, otherwise I leave a note on it for Mousekeeping.

Geez...its probably better that I haven't had a child yet. There's a whole set of concerns out there that I've never considered.

When the kids were little we always stayed in places that have fridges in the rooms...it was a given that they would need drinks etc. and in the long run it was cheaper to have cereal in the room than go out for breakfast.

I don't know what mousekeeping at Poly thought when they cleaned our room...we had to catch an early morning flight so left behind a fridge full of beer, coolers, water, pop and yogurt (I overestimated what we would need from garden grocer!!)

I have a mini-fridge in my car. Its one that plugs into the lighter and keeps items in it either hot or cold. Its fantastic and so indulgent. But when I go on vacation, my luggage is jammed with clothes...no room for a cooleer here!

I had an idea for the Flat One's.....

I made collage posters on Snapfish a couple of years ago for DD using her princess pictures and castle pictures and another with her and the characters. They turned out great.

i figure its a good size. its just me and my cousin going. so its not like we will need alot.. and the one at the store can fit quite a bit in it.. so i figure it will work well for us.

For some reason, I felt compelled to call DirecTv and renegotiate. I'm out of contract so I checked out what other cable companies are offering and called up customer service. The first guy I spoke to really was resistant, but once I pointed out that even saving $20/month for 12 months is nearly $250, he knew I was playing hardball. I got him to a $120 credit, payable $10/month and free showtime and startz for 6 months. If I do get a new flatscreen, I'll call back a renegotiate for an HD package.

more surprises! I spied a package on my porch. Turns out a promtional package had been delivered. it was one of those, buy XX amount of groceries get us free! But they had sent a letter stating that there was overwhelming response, blah, blah, blah. But they sent it. and get this....its pink! A pink 10 inch skillet with cover, measuring cups, cooks timer and spatula. Pink rules!

American Idol gives back is coming on...my ex David Cook is going to be on it. He's just my type...(ahem) big vocabulary and all!

We took it when we drove to DW-didn't use it in that room but did use it when we stayed in NO for a few days after.
