A friend of mine who has been waiting for almost 4 YEARS to pick up her daughter from China finally got the call today. Posted pics on FB. So happy for them!!!!

Their baby daugter is 1 year old.

Yes and yes. They travel in 6 weeks. Just so amazed that it took them 4 years to get a referal.

Looks like you ladies had drinks and still Kitty stood you up! She must have been having too much fun!

Deb: I've had two friends adopt from China...one got a 10 month old and the other a 2 year old with hearing problems, both girls. Because they were taking a special needs child the second couple waited less than a year. The first couple are orthdodentists and were actually offered a boy because they were well off!! Definitely a double standard when it comes to adopting.

Well I got a call from the surgeon's office my gall bladder will be coming out June 14th, which is good 'cause the kids will still be in school and I'll hopefully be fine before summer holidays start.

Good morning ladies from the Orlando airport! This is the only place I've found with free Wi-Fi. All Star Movies wanted $10 for internet, sorry but that's as much as my plane ticket! hee hee!

I had a wonderful day yesterday. I used Magical Express for the first time, and it was lovely. I really liked ASM, except for the fact that I was way, way in the back and I got lost finding my room! But I just threw my bag on the bed, changed into shorts, and was off to EPCOT! I met a little boy (about 13 I'd guess) heading there to meet his family, so we rode together. Once there, I headed straight to Morocco for lunch!

I did have a drink in honor of y'all. Who suggested the Morroco drink? I think it was called the Casablanca something or other...really good but too much for one person! Let's just say I found myself dancing in Canada with the band as well as drumming in Japan. It was so much fun.

We were real impressed with Magical Express when we went...not to worry a dancing drunk is no big deal in Canada!!

It will be lapro (sp?) surgery so I'm only in for the day...unless there is a complication and the have to cut me open.
