Hi everyone! I'm here at the hospital and they just prepped me for my induction. They will administer the pitocin in the morning and hopefully labor won't be too bad (I had a hard labor with DS, just turned 14 months...he did NOT want to come out). Anyway, I'll be taking some Ambien soon. Yay for sleep!

Wow! Check you out. Only in the 21st century can someone be laying on OK having a baby talking on a computer to a group of Women living all over the country.

Mary, I'd say we are as anxious as you to have your little bundle of joy but I know that's not true. But we are anxious for another tker baby. Wishing you a safe and easy delivery.

Hard to believe isn't it....she could even do a streaming video from a laptop web cam if she wanted too nowadays.

I personally couldn't believe when all my brothers and their wives showed up...they and my Mom sat there watching me like I was a time-bomb. I thanked them for coming and then tossed them out. I felt bad but, I wasn't about to go through that with my brothers in the room.

My mom drove us to the hospital for our first. She was still in the emergency room waiting room while I had DD14. It was really quick after I arrived until delivery. Nobody else was in the delivery room except DH. For our other 2 children, family watched the older ones so they couldn't be at the hospital till afterward. I certainly made things much easier for us.

Ha ha. I had mine in 88 and 91 we didn't even know what the internet was...although I would have LOVED to have it when we lived in Germany (In 88 when DS was born) when DH was in the Army. No TV and I was only 18 years old...that is tragic for someone that age ha ha. (yep, I'm 41 lol)

Pepper, back in 88, not having the internet wasn't tragic. Being 18 now and not having the internet is tragic in their eyes.

We didn't even get a computer until about 6 years ago. Maybe even less than that. We didn't know what we were missing since we never had one. But now, the computer is a life line to the outside world. Funny how things change.

Gotta check out for tonight. Kiddos have school tomorrow and mornings are hard enough as it is.

Another dreary day in NJ. Bummer. I want sunshine!

My kids have their standardized testing this week. As much as they hate the tests, they LOVE having a week of no homework! (so do I...)

I signed up for a sub job on June 1, taking the 8th grade from the other middle school on their boat trip (Sprit of NJ cruise) for the day. It's gonna be fun! Wish I was going with DD's class instead, but at least I get to go--AND get paid for it!

Gotta go have an ultrasound of the kidneys today. What fun. I just love having that goop slopped all over me...NOT!

I know some of you are involved in the school system, so I wanted to let you know that the History channel's fantastic 12 part series called America: the story of us will be made available free to schools. You just have to fill out a form or something. I watched two episodes over the weekend and they are fantastic. BF and I literally watched them and watched them replay right afterwards! They're probably more for the older middle school group, but really good.

I'm also still addicted to the history quiz on the website. I can't get a higher score!

I spoke too soon! Just ranked 218 out of 6713 players! My goal was to break 500 and I've done it...now I'm going to have to break top 100! Woo-hoo...happy dance.
