JO and I talked while her kids played in the water the first time we met...had a great time.

I think you can take the bag on rides if it's over your shoulder or around waist. The clothing bag would not be allowed. Even shoes should be tied for some rides.

Anyone watching Kate Plus 8? I think it starts on Sunday. They will be at Discovery Cove.

I wouldn't take a bag on any of the big coasters or that one water flume ride.

I won't watch that show. I don't like Kate one bit. And I still feel kinda bad for the kids to be pushed into the limelight.

I don't like Kate either but want to see the kids. I saw a commercial where she was complaining about being a helper down and traveling. I wanted to say---I doubt she's going to have any problems with the kids with all the producers and people with the show there. Plus I doubt the kids can get out of line...they have been trained by her after all!

I do love the kids. I even watched the last episode of Jon & Kate last year. I really liked the "through the years" montage they did.

The show could have been so good if they didn't let fame go to their heads.

I just got an email from Disney. A pin code for 40% off any resort for select times during the rest of the year. So much for them cutting down on discounts.

Of course TLC can edit it and show things the way they want to. I just hate the poor Kate attitude. She wanted those kids and I believe she does love them in her way. They have given her many things and experiences she never would have gotten otherwise.

Disney has to do something with Harry Potter opening.

Didn't the show start off as an "ordinary couple trying to raise 8 children"? In the beginning, I was inspired by them. Then they started getting free stuff. And the more free stuff they got, the more they wanted. And soon, I couldn't relate to them at all.

I believe they both love their kids very much. Kate needs to stop whining and Jon needs to stop playing the victim too.

I have not heard much about Jon lately except he has a new girlfriend. His old one was cleared of going through and trashing his apt.
I don't think either of them will change.
One of the topics on the dis thread was that the kids still take naps. They have an hour drive to school.

I wouldn't want to do an hour long drive to school. That's outrageous. Jackie is on the bus for 30 minutes and she gets bored.

The little ones are 6...the twins were born in 2000. They go in their own van...to a private school.

Good morning ladies! Going to be a hot one today...its supposed to storm some this afternoon, so I'll let nature take care of the lawn for me.

JO, I got that PIN too! I'm so tempted to use it.

I saw that about the new Kate show. I'm going to watch it probably. I do like the kids too, and it will be interesting to see if Kate has changed her tune at all. An hour each way is tough for little ones, but I suppose they have each other to entertain. But still, that's a long day.

I'm no longer going to Miami next weekend with Edward. While disappointed, I feel worse for him. The condo he's been renting has been foreclosed on! Now he's going to use his vacation time to scramble for a new place to live. Poor dear.

I was overzealous in my cherry eating and I cracked my tooth on a pit (I think). It sure sounded like I did, but no pain or bleeding so far. Still, I'm scared.

Saturday I'm going to my cousin's house for my niece's 1st birthday! I can't believe she's that old already. It'll be a fun time, my sister will be there also. I just hope to be able to drive through the city without losing my temper....

Morning! We are suppose to get the storms too this afternoon.

MK, I am so tempted to use that pin for a quick trip near Christmas. I keep working the numbers in my head. I won't do it though. We do have to save up for next year's vacation.

I wouldn't count on the Gosling kids entertaining each other on the ride. More like annoying each other. At least that's what my kids do.

Sorry about Edward. He just can't seem to catch a break.

Hi JO...yes, God bless Edward, coz he needs it. He just always seems to have bad luck trailing after him. BUt he has a really good attitude and I know he'll bounceback from this new situation. But still, I feel so bad for him.

Maybe Kate is smarter than we think. That's an extra two hours per day she doesn't have the kids annoying her. They have to leave at seven, and get home after four? That's a really long day for them...after homework and dinner, its almost bedtime....

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Edward that he finds a new place quickly.

The one thing that annoys me about Kate is she always seems to be looking for ways to be away from her kids. She has another new show too coming out. I know she has to work and I know what it's like to need some free time to yourself. But I wonder how much alone time she has with the kids? Just her and no nannies, film crew, etc.

Poor Edward...hope he gets settled soon Kitty. Tell him we are thinking of him.

I'm sure Kate is smart...look what she's done with her life...climbing over everyone, including her ex, to get what she wants for her kids...and herself! OOPS...should have put her first in the last phrase.
