Thank you thank you!!! I got accepted into the Disney CP and I'm going to be a BBB Hostess :. Very excited (was my first choice) and going to be on the Spring Advantage Program (January-August 2011).

I have a friend whose daughter is doing a term at WDW right now. She's working at the ToT . I think its cool, but as much as I'd love to work at WDW I would REALLY want to get paid for it though.

Just wanted to pop in and say Hi!..... & bye! We leave tomorrow for Disneyland. I fully expect when we get back to be looking for ya'll on a new thread! Everyone take care!

Kitty --i feel your pain, i think... Stayed home today and cant even get out of bed. Fell dizzy and light headed. Hoping its just sinuses and not something like the flu.

My sinuses are killing me today. I may have to bust out the Hello Kitty ice pack again. I've taken some meds and waiting for it to kick in. To make it worse, I'm paying bills. So my mood is just terrible. Yuck.

Hope you two sickies feel better soon!

I have recovered! I managed to go to the bank, to Home Depot (time to plasticize the windows) and to Coinstar. The one at Walmart didn't give out gift cards, but the one at the grocery did. I exchanged all my pennies, nickels, and dimes, and got a $16.xx gift card and my 5off20 coupon. Borders now has a price match policy, so I'm planning to bring the Target flyer and get my CDs at Borders for more savings!

So I have a cousin from the Phils who's doing graduate work in the Chicago area. He's already complaining its too cold, bless his heart. He's left his Thanksgiving plans open, but he wants to come to NY. But its too late to get a decent airfare, so my sister and I have hatched a new plan. Get cousin on Amtrak to Rochester, and she'll drive him down for the holiday. Hopefully it'll work.

My sister also has an ulterior motive. She wants a cat. She's allergic, but that hasn't stopped her. We have outdoor cats that are very tame, and she thinks she'll adopt one (if not two) of them. Hopefully Operation Kitty Kat will work! All my babies are strays too, and its worked out so far.

I've given in to the hype! At Home Depot they had beautiful fake poinsetta bushes (I can't have real ones, they're poisonous and I have hungry cats) and an adorable miniature fir tree. They're mine! I have to get teeny lights to decorate my table tree, I have a coupon for both michaels and AC MOore, so I should be able to get it there.

Thanks D, lots and lots of rest today. It's partially driving me crazy since I have so much stuff I need to get done, but I don't want to drag this out either.

Good morning ladies!

Thank you to all that have bravely served our country and those that support them in their daily lives.

Sinuses are still stuffy, but only the left side, so its a little better than yesterday, but still have to take something for it. Thank you all for your well wishes. It made a difference!

I'm getting ready to run my errands today. Going to the mall, armed with my coupons. My sister actually said she wanted button down shirts and sweaters for Christmas, so I'm the hunt for that. Going to Old Navy to load up on layering clothes for my poor freezing cousin. Getting CDs for Dad. Other stuff, before the real crazy holiday stuff begins.

I was working on my calendar last night and this weekend and the first weekend in December is the only free weekends I have. Otherwise, there are visitors everywhere! I better get on top of cleaning up! Its entirely unexpected and a surprise---holidays usually entail just my brother's family--but not I'm fretting.

Pepper--sorry to hear DD is fighting with BF. It happens, usually for silly reasons. Hope it ends well and quickly.

Good luck shopping Kitty! I am taking my mom shopping tomorrow (just her and I) in hopes of finding a good bargain.

Not sure what's going on but DS12 has been having a bunch of rough days lately. Thus, so is the rest of the family. Just completely out of control. DH and I wanted to ring his neck this morning. Ugh! Although we go through this every year as the holidays approach, I always hope that one year he will have grown out of this!!!

Booty. I had just finished my long-winded message and then I lost it.

anyway, had a successful day at the mall. Got there early and got a lot done. Lots of sales and coupons. Very happy. toward the afternoon, the lines started to get long and the aisles crowded so I left early.

On the way home I had a near disaster. I had dropped my drink so I pulled off at the next exit to rip the carseats off. Poor Kittymobile! Then I saw my poor phone swimming in the cup holder in a sea of Pepsi. ACK! I popped the battery out of the back and cleaned it up as much as I could (bless those Kleenex paper towels). Phone seems to be doing ok now...

and LITC its all your fault! I went to three different stores looking for alcoholic whipped cream. I have a few more on my list to check out. But for now, my hot cocoa is naked...

Been busy looking at all the Black Friday ads that are out already. I've seen quite a few good deals so far. Toys R Us has a netbook on sale for $79. I'm seriously thinking about trying to get out there and picking up a couple for the kids. Then someplace else has a PSP bundle for $129. Decisions, decisions.

I still need to look for the alcoholic whipped cream. Maybe this weekend before Curt leaves for an out of town job.
