M&N, did you see this thread about what other diser's opinions of what their own big Disney announcement should be. Some good ideas that I've seen so far.

Didn't see the thread...what's it called? I looked over the threads real fast.

My friend said she would love to give Bruno a score based on his singing...probably would nort even get a 3!

I missed some of the scoring from last night's show. But I have read everyone saying how out of line Bruno was. Just unnecessarily harsh.

Hey I hope everyone had a good day. I've been a big huge pile of stress these past few days but I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'm counting down the days until our Christmas trip. I'm in need of a vacation.

Hey DW2010! I hear ya on the stress part. They want terrible rain here tomorrow which means DH will be off another day. And now he'll probably have to work the whole weekend.

And our Disney vacation isn't until next August.

What is it about the stress? Desserts is stressed backwards and I sure have been craving chocolate! So I'm eating too many carbs instead. I don't have kids or dh or work to blame either. It must be in the air! But I get to go in Nov...

OK M&N, I read the whole thread. Lots of things popped out at me.

Refillable mugs in the parks would be pretty great.
More of a Villains' presence in one of the parks (Studios)
A pirate character meal with Captain Jack
And though I hate to say it, getting rid of free dining. It makes things too crazy and from everything that everyone else was saying, the food is less varied now.
Also, the Phineas and Ferb characters in the park.

And I think there should be less Princess stuff. They need more things for boys.

More rides like Peter Pan/Snow White. Where's Mickey and Minnie's houses going to be? I would like more things about the animals at AK....so we could see them more. (I only read p1 so far)
My friends down there hate free dining for the reasons mentioned...someone's paying for those meals...

Speaking of AK,I wish they would have added the Mythical area they originally wanted to do. They could have done a coaster similar to Dueling Dragons at U.S.

No I don't think he's quite ready yet. But he loves being around kids.

I love the tree but there's not much there to do. The parade could be spruced up too.

I've never seen the parade at AK. We usually do AK in a half day so that gets skipped. There just doesn't seem to as much to do there compared to the other parks.

Afternoon all!

The new windows arrived today and the installer was ready to put them in when I noticed the color was white and not cameo as it should have been. D'oh!!! So he was going to take them back and I said "No way! (but w/ a few more explatives) You're going to install these puppies and then when the right color comes in you're going to reinstall the good ones. There's no way I'm waiting another 10 weeks with broken, pushed in windows. Knew this was going to smoothly. Ugh! Don't they know winter is coming??? We're supposed to get a freeze this weekend. Yikes!

Will have to check out that thread of Disney promo ideas.

M&N - No I don't want my picture up on the castle. And why would I or anyone else care about other people's pics up there? Have we become so narcissistic as a society that we think other people will get the same feeling about our photos that we do???
