Thanks Ev! Hugs right back at you.

I have only a rhodendrum in front of my house now...it really looks funny. It can't be cut back until it blooms in the spring. I have to decide what I would like out front now. The bricks have to be power washed from where the brick wall was. It was falling apart and came down good. They only had about 8 inches of dirt on blocks in it...no wonder only weeds grew there. Any flower or shrub suggestions? I need something low maintenance. I also want to put a little tree where the big pine was in the yard...it's not a big space. Anyone have a flowering cherry---something that has the limbs like drooping? I don't want something that would grow big after getting all that stuff out.
Does the flowering crab make a mess like berries or anything?
I have more than 8 in of dirt now. Troy took out a brick wall up against the house that was used as a flower box. It was against my little stoop of a porch and under the picture window. There's a little overhang from the roof and it never got rain so nothing grew. It was falling apart so Troy tore it down. There's cinder block from the foundation showing now...I guess we can put more dirt there...more than a height of a block shows in that part.
