MagiKitty If your skirt is falling off you need a smaller size. Of course we don't know if it's because you lost weight or the size is screwed up.

It was quite a few years ago, 2003. I was young and living it up in Chicago. I had a great roommate who went out and got drunk almost every night, but he had a friend who had a boat and we'd go out on the lake on the weekends, especially if they had fireworks.

Now that I look back on it, I was quite naive! I found my apartment via the internet and moved in site unseen. Lucked out that it was a gorgeous apartment in a great neighborhood. It was only when I got there that I started to freak out! I will admit, I went through his things before I really moved in. I found his stash of porn, but nothing freaky and no weird toys. So I moved in and it was a great time. But it could have gone so wrong!

Hi everyone, I'm back!! Well actually I have been back since Monday, but I went through my little "post Disney depression" ha ha. I think I am going to do a trip report. I have a TON of pictures (most of you already know ha ha). I need to go back and get all caught up...oh and change the depressing ticker. , but right now I gotta cook dinner. I was just thinking of you guys and logged on just for you.

OMG, we had a blast! We did the "no plan" thing (except ADR's of course) since it was just me and DD. What a blast that was! We just went wherever we felt like. Of course now I can't remember when we were where ha ha. but the pics will tell the tale. I think this time last week we were in EPCOT waiting for Illuminations.

Best meal by far was T-Rex...they really have good food.

Best on the Dining Plan would have to be Chef Mickey's.

Worst dessert was Chef's De France. We got the vanilla ice cream thing between those two cake/cooking thingies. Ewwww, it was like eating ice cream on a sponge.

Briefly:

We got put in the Rancheros at Coronado Springs, I am not normally a complainer, but we paid extra for a water view and our water view was a fountain! They moved us to the cabanas and we had a much nicer room.

I also confirmed that the rash Kendall gets is something at the water parks so we only went once, saw her breaking out, left ASAP and didn't go back. There is 54.00 per day per person down the drain...ouch.

The trip actually went super smooth though. Had some rain Friday evening and Saturday, but it really kept things cooled off so we just bought a couple of umbrellas and made the best of it. The rain on Saturday really caused the animals to be out on the safari at AK so we really felt like the rain was a blessing. It poured for a couple of hours on Sunday, but we were in Chef Mickeys then we rode the monorail over to the Poly and checked that out for a while. By the time we were done looking the rain had stopped. We went to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the night and enjoyed some extra magic hours.

In between we were all over the place. Downtown Disney, Boardwalk etc...

Oh yea, we built a car at Ridemakerz...expensive but pretty cool. Kendall wanted it for her BF. Big hit haha. Thank goodness she paid for it though.

So there is a sneak preview. Hopefully I will get time to do a TR over the weekend.

Where is ridemakerz? Good for you for complaining about your room. Really, fountain doesn't count as water view!

Yea, I was surprised with T-Rex. Chefs was a letdown..oh well, I was at Disney!

Ridemakerz is a place where you build remote control cars. I think it is Disney's way of trying to include boys. You pick out the body and color, then you pick out wheels, accessories etc...kinda like build a bear with cars.

I really don't like to complain too much, but Kendall reminded me how annoyed I was going to be when I read on the Dis about someones "free upgrade to water view". She knows me well she said "Mom, you are going to say...They got my waterview!!!" ha ha.

I do want to get rid of aol but too busy to bother! I also do not relish the idea of having to get a new email address out to everyone.

Hey M, if you do decide to get something like cable internet, you can keep your aol email address, and just switch to their free account. I did that when I "got rid" of the pay aol service.

Morning ladies! Another nice day here today. Too bad I have so many things to do that I can't stay outside to enjoy the weather. Sounds like it's pretty nice everywhere else too. Hope everyone has a lovely day.


Oh yeah, LITC, I just wanted to mention that I finally got the chance to check out all the new Walter photos. He is so adorable! I loved the ones with Mickey and many of the others. He is growing so fast.

Off to consider getting some house work done.... or something....

Ok, I didn't even book the Disney vacation and I'm already changing my mind about the hotel. Now I think we'll go with All-Star Sports because it is first to be picked up if the All-Stars are sharing buses. Plus, it's the only value resort Curt and I have not stayed at.
