Morning TKers!
It was 43 when I woke up this morning so not too bad. Dropped DS9 off at school, voted and put gass in my van. Came home and made the beds, put away some folded laundry, collected dirty laundry, put a load in the washing machine, pretreated some kids laundry and unloaded half the dishwasher. It was only half because I was getting a cup of tea ready and decided to drink that while I checked in here and over at FB. I'll have to go back and unload the rest later.
Magi: Love the boots! I'm a sucker for that color brown. I have a pair of black almost to the knee boots but I never wear them. I got them for a steal at a rummage sale. They are in great condition and cost me about $5. Someday I am going to wear them. Maybe they'll go on my cruise with me for pirate night.
Ev: Curling up under a blanket sounds awesome! I think I might do that later this afternoon. No appointments so I can watch TV and maybe take a little cat nap. --My DS13 has this website that he goes to that shows weird stuff caught in pictures. Reminds me a little of your puns thing. One thing he showed me had me thinking "Oops, someone should have caught that!" It was the score display for soccer teams, one from Germany and one from Nigeria. The problem was it was displayed like so NIG/ /GER. I do wonder if that really happened or if someone just photo shopped it that way.
M&N: You sound like you're going to be very busy. Have a good time!
Bopsmom: So happy to see that you stopped by.
D&D: We've got some good leftover stuff too. I ended up with only 1 family stopping by for treats. This was our first year being home so I'm not sure who usually is in the neighborhood. Yes, you read that right. We do not leave anyone home to pass out candy while we are going TT. There was a thread on the DIS about what awful and horrible people we are. I guess it's not fair because we are taking candy but not giving it out. I figure I handed out candy before I had kids and I'll be handing it out after they outgrow TT. Those years combined total longer then the years my kids will have been TT so they can BITE ME!
LITC:

over Walter's reaction! I remember that look well. The other one that gets me is when they meet Santa for the first time. "Who is this weirdo and why the hell are you making me sit on his lap!"
I still can't believe that we are two days into November. I spent a little time yesterday putting all my Halloween decorations away. I don't do anything for Thanksgiving so it will be a few weeks until I start getting Christmas stuff out. I usually decorate the Saturday after Thanksgiving Day.
I wanted to share that I am going shopping with my Mom and my MIL this Saturday. This is the first time that MIL is going with us. We should have a great time!
