Mary, help yourself to some :cheer2: I know you can do it!! Of course, today is weigh in day for me, and my scale just ISN'T moving. Still 139. But my clothes are all getting looser, so I'm just ignoring that number! Maybe I'll get over to fix my cheat free clippie today too.

I've started calling this my white lunch!

walked 2 miles with DH (slower pace for him, but it was still 2 miles. He needed to get out and start moving. He's been down lately.)

I re-entered my cheat free clippie, but it's not working still. Hmmmm. Anyway, on to the journal for 5/5

lunch: low carb ham and cheese flatbread sandwich (2/3 C)
low carb chips (1/3 C)
Quizno's has finally gotten a low carb menu. The sandwich was pretty good. The chips were some kind of soy chip, and had 5 net g of carbs. They were kind of a cross between the taste/texture of a dorito and a pork rind. It's not something I'd go out of my way to try again!

pm: 6 tortilla chips (1C)
taco salad w/ beans (1C)

No exercise, girl scouts.

I wish we had a Quiznos around here. They show the commercials and it looks delicious but there isn't one anywhere around :confused: . Although, I think I would take a pass on those chips you were talking about ;) .

Left my notebook at work, so I'll catch up for the whole weekend's journals. Overall, I stayed on plan. There definitely were individual meals where I was over, but it was Mother's Day, so I'm not sweating it!

lunch: mother daughter tea. Lots of little yummies. Total was probably 4Cs, but worth every bit!
pm: low carb ham and cheese wrap (2/3C)
DD's bday party, so no exercise. Total carbs - 6 (and I didn't eat any of her cake, so that was a point for willpower!)

5/9 Mother's Day
am: 2 eggs, 1 slice toast (1C)
lunch: buffet. DH didn't make any plans, so that was someplace we could get into. 3C total
pm skipped this due to choir practice
3 mile walk. Total carbs - 4 + exercise

I think you are the queen of cheat-free!
I bet St. Mary's is beautiful this time of year. You have some great scenery for you walks. My DH is planning to bring the kids down to Point Lookout for fishing soon. He also likes to take them out in the kayak in the St. Mary's river.

Catching up. This time, my journal kept getting left at home while my computer was at work. Weigh in was Wed, and I was down a pound (138). Best of all, I wore a pair of size 6 pants to work Friday, and they fit very nicely! Yep, I was happy.

Weighed in this morning and down one more pound to 137. So it looks like that scale is moving again!

Catching up from the weekend. Saturday was all day scouts. DS's first court of honor (he officially got his scout rank), after he worked on his firestarter chit and totin chit (Using knife, axe, and saws :eek: ) then DD's bronze award project. All that's left is putting together the two halves each girl did and editing the videotape. Anyway, that's over with!
