TKA...Thread Killers Anonymous

Hi, My name is Jeff and I'm 33.

Thanks in part to a family intervention, I have finally realized that I am in fact a Thread Killer. I have been a thread killer since early Dec, 2003. It seems as if every thread I update, dies. Well, I guess the political ones don't, but the other ones sure do. I try to post relevant information but alas, it fails.

I hope by sharing this burden with fellow Dis'ers, this will allow others to come together and form a group to share ideas/help each other understand its not an individual problem. It can and does affect a lot of other users. No longer will we need to feel shame when our posts fail to be updated. It is time to unite. Lets stop the division and move on so that one day we can become sure in our posts and lead normal Dis lives.

Well, if you posted everyday the odds would be in your favor. Someone would most likely come along and post after you.

Thread killing is an artform Jeff. Just remember, not everyone can do it - and it's a necessary evil on this board sometimes.

I've never done that, but have been tempted numerous times though..
