In April I will be taking my students to WDW to sing. Included in the package deal is a 4 day hopper. Since these tickets are from the Disney Youth Program, is there a way I could turn the ticket in and pay the difference for an Annual Pass?

I don't think they are eligible for the DVC AP. If you mean a regular AP, you should post your question on the theme park thread. There are some ticket CM's that post there. This is a DVC forum.

I'm thinking gparr may be a DVCer, who happens to also be going to the Disney Youth Program and wants to use his/her ticket toward the purchase of a DVC AP. That would probably be a question that would be best answered by emailing ticketing or Guest Services, as some special event tickets are specially priced and not eligible for upgrade. It depends upon how they are coded by WDW.

I’m pretty sure you can upgrade those YES tickets. They should behave just like any other third-party ticket. You’d have better luck asking in the Theme Park forum about YES tickets. If the ticket is upgradable, then it can be upgraded to any ticket or AP that you’re qualified to purchase.

Youth Educational Series (YES) tickets are not upgradable once issued by Disney.
