We (family of 3) have been to WDW several times, but now we are planning to spend much more time there. We are AP holders. None of us are big eaters and spending 60+ dollars (not including tips) on 1 meal for us is incomprehensible for both my wife and I. I have looked at the list of TIW restaurants, but do not know which are table service and which are quick service. Almost all of our meals will be at quick service restaurants at the parks or resorts. First, are there many (any) quick service eateries easily available? And, secondly, if there are, would TIW even be worth it for a family spending probably 2-3 weeks per year who does not eat table service? Thanks in advance for your input.

Really the only quick service locations that accept TiW are due to a lack of table service locations.

You can use TiW at Value food courts. AP @ SSR (a holdover from the pre-TC days. I once used TiW to buy a refilliable mug there) And most locations at DAK (including my favorite QS at WDW, Flame Tree BBQ ;) )

Otherwise I believe it is all table service.

Basically, you have to buy $400 worth of food on TiW to break even. But you need to take into account other discounts you may get (DVC or AP..) so that may make the break-even much higher.
I doubt it would work for your family

Flame Tree, Pizzafari, and Restaurantasaurus all at AK take TIW. The food courts at Pop Century, All Star Music, Movies, and Sports, and POFQ take TIW. Also, Artist's Palette at SSR takes it. That's all. I'm not sure it would be worth it if you only planned on using it at QS places. Don't forget, you can also use it at all the lounges where some of the appetizers make decent meals. I don't drink, but we still visit a few lounges for appetizers once in a while.

Thanks for the input. It doesn't sound like a good deal with there not being many options and with the math worked out. I don't drink either, and my wife will only have 2-3 per week, so no benefit there either.
