TIW & resort refillable mugs

Is it true if you have a TIW card you can get the 20% off TIW discount for purchasing refillable mugs at any disney gift shop/quick service? Thanks!

Gift shops do not accept TIW. The list of restaurants that do can be found at https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_CA/dining/tables-in-wonderland/

However, if you have an annual pass then you can use the passholder merchandise discount to purchase a refillable mug at a resort gift shop.

I asked about this last May at the BC Marketplace and they told me they did not give a discount on mugs. We’re staying at AKL this April so I will ask again.

I know you can get the TIW discount on the Mug at SSR. I do it every year. Oct 2017 was the last time I did it and I plan to do it again later this month.

AKV has never let me use any discounts on mugs.

Thats because the Mara doesnt take TIW. Artists palette takes it at SSR.

On a similar note, if I buy the refillable mug in the resort gift shop, will my AP discount apply?

It is always up for change, and it's been a few years .... but I have.

TiW is good in some of the resorts food courts. That is where we got our mugs. They gave me the 20% discount like they did our food.

So, possibly if you purchase your mugs from the quick service at French Quarter, where they do take TIW, you would get 20% off? hmm. Good to know.
