TIW Renewal

My TIW card expired in December. Got great use out if it!! We will be going back in May so my question is can I renew by phone or do I need to go to guest services and how much for a renewal?? I can't remember if there was a DVC discount to the price.

Just went through this a couple of days ago at Guest Services. There is no "renewal" on a TIW. They simply expire and you purchase a new one when necessary. DVC price is $100 I think. Ours expires in a few weeks.

Yup, no renewal discount. Wait until your next visit & purchase in person at a GS location to maximize your validity dates.

They used to sell them over the phone but I do not think you can do that way anymore and you just buy at guest services at one of the parks when you get there. Also, buying in advance was not the better choice anyway because they would send one that started before you actually went to WDW. You buy at the park and it statrts when your purchase and is good until the end of the thirteenth month thereafter, e.g., buy anytime during Feb 2015 and it is good until March 31, 2016.

Annual pass holders and Florida residents can purchase over the phone, but DVC members must purchase in person.
