TIW Question

I had done the DDP the last few times, too, but did TiW for our December trip and loved it!

I just checked the back of my card. I bought it at the International Gateway on Dec. 5. The back of the card says it's valid through 1/31/11 -- almost 14 months. Well worth the $75, especially if you go more than once in a 12-month span.

DW and I get minimum of 3 trips per AP/TIW. Last May, TIW was easily paid for after one trip: lunch at Coral Reef and Chef's de France, dinner at Spoodles, Cali Grill, and Yachtsman(bottle of wine too). So the way I look at it, the tip was/is covered for our 3 TS meals this past November, and two more to come in April.

Have also used TIW for drinks at Tune In lounge, Rose and Crown pub, Victoria Falls, and Belle Vue Room. Look forward to trying some of the added Swolphin and DTD restaurants for the first time, during F&W in Oct.

This question was asked on the first page and I can't find an answer.

Can you use the TIW along with the DDP? We're going 3 times this year and I know that we'll do extra meals and drinks and appetizers along with our DDP.

Say if I get a bottle of wine at Cali Grill and appetizers can I use the TIW for that and the DDP for my meal?

Thanks for your help!:goodvibes

Yes you can use the TIW card on the extras that are not part of the DDP.

The buffet that we most frequently go to is the Cape May Cafe and we have always found the service to be exceptionally good. We don't mind tipping the 18% there. I was concerned about the added on tip, and did send a note complaining about it when it was installed, but in the end, we've not had any complaints since then.

I bought our TIW in June of 2009 with the intent to use it for our June 2009 trip and our April 2010 trip. Even though we'd only planned to eat at about 5 TS restaurants with the discount, I still calculated that we'd come out ahead.

It was a great surprise when DH told me that I could go to WDW with my BFF for my birthday. I got a PIN code for a room-only rate (which was fine since I had an AP) so we stayed at Pop Century for 5 nights. I totally forgot that I could use the TIW card at the Pop Century food court:cool1:. We ate breakfast there every day. I either got a kids meal, or we split a breakfast croissant and a side of potatoes. Each day, my breakfast was under $5! They even gave me the 20% off my refillable mug (which I know they weren't supposed to do:wizard:.) We also used it at LeCellier, Boma, Sanaa and Pizzafari. I think I figured that I saved about $50 on my "solo" trip, and that doesn't include the $30 we'd saved in June. Now, anything we save in April (with 6 people eating for three days) will be gravy!

We are going to get 2 trips out of it for sure and possibly a third if we are able to do an add on. It sounds like it's worth it!
