TIW question and AP expiration question

Hi ! I'm considering getting TIW for our Christmas trip this December and I was wondering..My AP expires in March. If I buy TIW this December, will the new TIW card expires on March or is it still valid a year after purchase even if my AP is expired ? Do I have to keep AP and TIW active the same time ? Thanks for your help !

If you purchase the TIW in December, it will be valid for 13 months - thru January, 2012 - regardless when your AP expires. The AP is required to buy the TIW initially, but there is no other requirement regarding the use.

I have another TIW question, I was reading about TIW on the Disney website, http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passholder-program/dining-discounts/, and I noticed that at the Epcot restaurants and Disney Resort Restaurants the TIW is

Valid for Walt Disney World® Passholder and up to 3 Guests

versus up to 9 guests as many have stated here on the DISboards. In fact even in the link above it says

Tables in Wonderland Membership benefits are valid for the Walt Disney World Passholder and up to 9 Guests.

Also it looks like many of the restaurants only give a 10% discount.

I also noticed that many of the restaurants listed had the same restriction. Are these a new changes?
