At this risk of sounding paranoid, if we want a second card for $50, what will we need to show, giving that we have different last names?

It's interesting that TIW says a second card for a spouse or partner, and not just for anyone else in your party. Our identification will show that we live at the same address, but not that we are married.

Thanks.

I think that it just has to be same address. That is my understanding. One person can pay for the whole group using TIW. The only time a spouse or partner card would be needed would be if you are dining separately. I found this on the TIW site

{The Tables in Wonderland discount is good for up to 10 people including the member, as long as everyone is on the same check, and the Tables in Wonderland member is paying the bill. If you have the Tables in Wonderland card, and your spouse or partner has the Tables in Wonderland secondary card, together you may cover up to 20 people (including the member and his/her spouse/partner). Both members must live at the same address and be 21 years of age or older.}
