My DD, DS, and I had the pleasure to attend this event on July 17! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves! If you have the TiW card and you are at Disney when they offer this event I highly recommend it!

This sign was in from of The great Movie Ride. Many park guests came up to the entrance only to be disappointed.

Wow! What is this? I'll google it to find out.

My kids love The Great Movie Ride, weird, right?

And, I plan on getting a TIW card on our next trip in November. Do you actually sit in the car and eat?

I found an Allears.net report on this event. It sounds really cool. I wonder if they'd allow kids? It looked like something for grownups, right? It's a hefty price, though. Is it really $155/pp, or do they take off the 20% for the TIW card holders?

Sorry about the pics but my DIS friend will help me soon but I will not be able to post until tomorrow.
I think it was 155, no discount but only for TiW card holders. It was also limited to 80 people and I was told it was sold out. You don't eat in the car, you get to walk into the ride where the car usually goes. Very close to all props and you spend time in each area. My kids are in high school so they were fine with this event. I would think it would not be something young children would be interested in doing. They had and open bar all evening plus pop (soda) as we say it in Ohio, water, and also non-alcholic drinks.
The meal was seved in the gangster area.

Gasp! $155! Wow!

I really would love to see pics. From what I googled some of the dishes looked so cute.

I attended the Tables in Wonderland Great Movie Ride dinner event last night. It was a great time, especially considering I had three solid hours to explore the entire attraction. That looks like so much fun!! Very cool.I wish they had a simple vow renewal option.

Sounds awesome! I hope it's still around in 10 years when I'll be able to go without my kids, as I don't see them settling for a 3 HOUR dinner event.:scared1:

One more time at trying to post some pics.

This was the main course, served at our table. Yummy mac & cheese, steak, and cowboy beans.

We also had soup and salad. We all loved the soup not so much the salad.

We also had some bread, as you can see in this picture. The butter was cute.....Mickey pattern!

$155 for that. Good grief. They had better come up with something far more impressive that this for the dinner being held during the Grape Getaway.

Looks like you do this for the experience and not the food...that does not look like $155 food.

They had an open bar and other drinks the entire night too. Plus appetizers and desserts, all in different areas. It was not just about the dinner. The fact you spent 3 hours inside The Great Movie Ride, with entertainment, was what we really enjoyed. For fans like us, it was great!

Some people say they get mailings about events, but I saw a post here on the boards. I just happened to be going on the day we arrived so I was able to call and get a reservation. Here is the email address, maybe you could ask when the next event is planned - WDW.Tables.In.Wonderland@disney.com

You must have the TiW card. Good luck!

Thank you for the link! I've had a card for a couple of years and have never received an e-mail, regarding special events:confused:
