If most TIW members are annual passholders, that makes me wonder why they need admission to DHS.

DD and I are AP holders but not DS. He entered via the stroller/wheelchair entrance at the main gate. We didn't arrive until 6:15, you weren't able to come early in the day if you didn't want to use a ticket or your AP. We used the time to look around and check out the AC in the stores.

Do they close the park down, except for the meal goers? That's the only way I think they could justify the "admission to DHS" as part of the price.

The park was open until 10 pm the night we went. It was originally scheduled to close at 7 but I was told, when I booked, that the Studios changed the hours but decided to let the event still take place. Actually, I think it would be interesting to enter a closed park and come out when all guest were gone.
