Just found out this is an option!!!

My question is do I have to have a reservation to valet park at the park? We have some for some days but not for others.

There is not valet parking at the parks, only at the deluxe resorts. Bring you meal receipt to the valet at the resort for the free parking. Tips are still appreciated and expected.

There's no Valet Parking at any park, only at Deluxe resorts. While you don't need a reservation, I believe you do need your restaurant receipt to prove you actually ate. There may also be a time limit, so you couldn't, say, eat breakfast, spend all day at a park, then pick up your car ten or twelve hours later.

This is correct; you need to use your TiW card at the meal and then show the receipt to the valet station when you pick-up your car.

So no valet parking at the parks but parking is free as long as I eat somewhere

With restrictions, you have to eat and have receipt and there is a 3 hour time limit. If you have TIW because you have an AP, some have free parking so it might not be an issue anyway.

"Theme Park parking is complimentary to Tables in Wonderland members, for the sole purpose of dining at one of the participating Theme Park restaurants. Before 5:00pm, please pay for parking at the Auto Plaza. Visit Guest Relations on your way out of the Theme Park, and if it has been less than 3 hours, show your membership card, parking receipt, and dining receipt for parking reimbursement. After 5:00pm., members can show their membership card at the Auto Plaza to enter the parking lot. Theme Park admission is required for dining in all Theme Park restaurant locations. On Tables in Wonderland blockout dates, there will be a charge for parking and valet services."

No AP here Fl resident planning an off site trip for 7 and trying to figure out if the TIW card is worth it

I would have liked an answer. I don't know the answer. We never used valet parking before

Thank you

When you asked about tipping on "free valet parking" it seemed like you were asking how much you should tip given that the valet asking was free, not how much one would normally tip for valet parking. In other words, it sounded like you already knew how much you normally tipped valet and we're just asking if you should tip differently because valet parking was free.

In terms of the monetary amount, it varies by person and there is not really any one answer. I don't know about this sub-board, but I know that discussions about tipping is strictly prohibited on the restaurant boards. So rather than risk getting this thread locked, I would recommend you Google "valet tip" and see what answers you get.
