TIW and parking question

If I am correct, you can get free valet parking with a TIW card? I have ADR's at Chef Mickeys, but realize I won't have gotten my card yet, as it's our first meal, before we do any parks. If I walk over the MK guest services from the Contemporary (and we valet park) and buy the card before we sit down, can we get the complimentary valet parking still after we are done eating?

Yes, but you have to show your card to Valet when you give your ticket to the valet, some will acutally ask you for the CM dining receipt. Last month we were actually staying at BLT, I walked over to MK guest services to purchase my TIW card while DH took a nap. We didn't need valet but we did use the TIW for the Wave and other sit down restaurants.

You show it when you leave at the valet desk and they usually ask to see your restaurant receipt as PP said.
