I posted that Titus was leaving Sat. morning and that I would post the pics later that day but I just wasn't up to it. I have some good pics but I haven't scanned them yet. I will post them Monday during the day if I have time.
Saturday morning was very tramatic as Titus misplaced his wallet (or so he thought, it was in his carry on bag) and everyone went nuts trying to find it before we had to leave for the base. We were running about a half an hour late by the time we got out the door but dh used a lead foot and we got there thirty minutes early, lol. Before the lost wallet episode everyone was upset and sad, there was a lot of crying going on in our house. After he discovered he'd lost his wallet everyone was hunting like crazy and the tension was rising to unbelievable levels. Then Ashli found his wallet in the carryon bag and everyone was so relieved that it wasn't nearly so hard to say goodbye. (He would have been in so much trouble without that wallet, all the stuff he needed for his deployement was in it).
Titus called last night at 3:00 am to talk to Ash. He was on a refueling stop in Germany. I answered the phone and it felt so good to hear his "Mrs. Miller, this is Titus" in his usual cheerful, easy going way.
Thanks for all the support you guys have offered. I know that a lot of people probably don't understand why such support is needed/wanted but for a worry-wart like me it really helps.
