"Titanic" question....

I have gone back in forth, I always thought she was dreaming then a few month ago, this same question came up here on the Dis and when I watched it again, I thought well...maybe she did die. I do not think either possiblity is right or wrong, that is what is so great about ending like this , you can make up your own mind.

NOW if I had had my way the granddaughter would have been Jacks...

She died. Her eyes are not moving. So, she's not in REM sleep. :)

Well, I think once she threw the necklace away, she has let go of everything.

I've gone through this with so many people. I'm positive she died too. It was just the way Jack told her, "You're going to die an old woman warm in your bed."

I also think she may have known she was going to die and that's the reason she told her story...so Jack's memory would "live on" like it did in her heart.

I think she died - and I seriously thought I might die too before that movie ended.

I saw James Cameron on some talk show and he said he left the end of the movie that way for each viewer to decide for themselves if Rose died or not..... Personally I think she did.... I feel bad for the man she married though- where was he? Maybe they divorced..... Personally I like to think the Granddaughter was Jack's..... I saw a resemblance......:p

I think she died too (What a surprise!) I think she had done everything she wanted to in life, and dealing with the memory was her final task. She was old and ready to see Jack again :)
