Just wondering if the Titanic Exhibit in Orlando is worth checking out. I teach a unit in January that focuses on the survivors and what they witnessed. If I can take pictures and bring back any teaching aids, it would be well worth it IMHO. Wanted to hear others experiences before we consider it as part of our upcoming trip. Thanks!!!

Titanic is not a razzle-dazzle attraction, but it's very well done and I rather liked it. If you liked the movie, you will probably like it, too.

My complete review is posted here.

Our October trip coinsided with my DD llearning about the Titanic in school. She really didn't want to go and made us all miserable. BUT..she loved it. We took a ton of pictures for her class and her teacher shared them with the class.

it sounds fab.. I wonder what the minimum age would be (that might enjoy it?)

I am sure I saw somewhere that at the end - dont they pump water into the tour or something.. a bit like catastrophe canyon? and then its rushing towards you, and disappears just before it gets to you?

If its not this exhibit, it was a different Titanic one....

About how long do you recommend for spending time at the exhibit? If we do this, we would try to catch it in a time span of no more than 2 hours.

It's a guided tour that takes 45-60 minutes. Once the guide is done taking you on the tour you can go back through and see as much as you want and stay for as long as you want but usually you have enough time to see most everything while on the tour.

titanic is my favorate place to see the weckage of the titanic. do you know what is the web site for the info about the titanic.

It was in St. Pete, and they moved it to the permanant location, I honestly can tell you I was IN AWE.

I've a connection to the Titanic, and I just stood there, surrounded by the relics, and the somberness of it all. It was well done, not flashy at all. A good tribute to those who lost their life.

I'm so glad I found this post. I love history and anything that has to do with the Titanic. I've heard for so long about this museum and where it's located, but no one I know has ever gone. After reading this thread, going to visit the Titanic's museum is a definite must! Thanks for the info. :goodvibes
