I need some suggestions for different places to eat. We always eat at Japan, Liberty Tavern, 50's Prime Time and Chef Mickey's. I need some ideas for someplace different. What is your favorite?

Thanks!! :simba: :goofy: :stitch: :tigger:

How about the Plaza Restaurant on Main?

Good soup and sandwiches.

herc.

We love The Plaza! It's a must do on each trip. Nothing fancy, just great sandwiches, soups & salads. Milkshakes are yummy too. Our other favs include Le Cellier, Mama Melrose's and Cape May, to name a few. ;)

Some of our favorites are Mama Melrose, Yachtsman Steakhouse, ESPN, and Kona Cafe. Have you tried those?

We like Chefs De France at Epcot.

Some of our faves are Ohana's, Le Cellier. We are trying Boma, 50's PT and Coral Reef this trip. I still want to try Kona Cafe, Spoodles and Jikos and California Grill one day. We always have some old fave we return to but we always try new places on each trip.
New CS we want to try is Sunshine Seasons and EOS and Tusker House while keeping old faves Pecos Bills and Pizza Planet

1900 Park Fare - fantastic character dinner. Beautiful resort!!

WCC - great food, great resort, lots of fun!!

On our trip this July, we ate at and loved Mama Melrose, Kona Cafe, and 'Ohana.

You have some pretty good favorites!! :) However, these are some of the ones on the top of our list (that don't already make your list;))...

-The Coral Reef-relaxing, beautiful setting, best shrimp cocktail EVER, a break from the parks right in a park (this is our all time favorite meal)

-The Crystal Palace-a fun character meal in the park if you want to skip the LTT.

-Hollywood and Vine- a nice buffet meal in the parks. No characters but good food and great dessert!

-Sci Fi- We like eating in a car. It's fun and a good order off the menu meal. Great adult drinks and shakes.

-Ohana's character breakfast (if you have a Stitch fan, this is a great meal!!)

-The Garden Grill. Good family style "home style" foods. Great characters and the entire thing rotates while you eat and you get a peek into the Living with the Land ride.

We also like Donald's Breakfastasaurus (yes, we do love character meals).

Good luck finding some more family favorites to add to your rotation!

Another vote for Spoodles. Kona Cafe, Ohana, and Rose and Crown are all great.

Don't forget Beaches & Cream! :hyper:

But, you have to promise me you'll get a No Way Jose sundae for dessert! ::yes::

Try some Downtown Disney restaurants.... Raglan Road, Wolfgangs, Earl of Sandwich...

Boma, Jiko, Citricos, CA Grill, Concourse, Le Cellier, Kona, WCC, etc...

There are tons to choose from! If you are looking for different character meals, try Garden Grill or Crystal Palace (or maybe the breakfast at 'Ohanas)...

Plenty of options!

Do you have a car? We have to make a couple of trips to Bahama Breeze for the empanadas.

A must do for us is Jiko and Boma, even if we need to eat more CS to make p for Jiko.

we are doing

ohana kona lecellier coral reef 1900 PF to name a few different ones for you

also Flame Tree bbq at AK was good as a CS....

I would love to try some at AK at some time....but no car at the Poly means we stick to monorail resorts or park meals

If you are like us and have never eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, try it! There aren't any characters, but it is not family style either. I highly recommend the William Penn pasta and the grilled poundcake!!

And we stopped in at 12:30 on a pretty crowded Saturday and had no wait whatsoever. OK, just long enough for me to put my big behind on the seat and then hear them call our name. Nice and air-conditioned too!

We're trying Grand Floridian Cafe in December. I've heard nothing but good reviews about it. Also, I agree Kona Cafe is very good. Also Spoodles at the boardwalk.

A couple of our favorites are LeCellier, Boma, and Donald's Breakfast as far as the character meals thusfar.

Wow, so many to choose! I have lots of favorites at Disney.

There are plenty of things I like from each park, but I'll try and stick to one major one from each...

Epcot: Marrakesh (Morrocco Pavilion). The kabobs are delicious (and good for the picky eaters), as is the couscous. Belly dancers for entertainment are great.

Disney - MGM Studios: I love the burgers at Sci-Fi. They also have good milkshakes, and for adults you can get the Marsha's Martian (chocolate milkshake with baileys, kaluha, and vodka).

Magic Kingdom: Tony's Town Square has some great Italian food. I'm a fan of the calamari, and the eggplant Rotini. LTT is great for lunch as well, I normally get the Old Glory Burger, and Russel is always our server (he's the best).

Disney's Animal Kingdom: I know there are no TS restaurants, but AK has some amazing food offerings. I'm a fan of Tusker House in Africa (especially when they have coconut-crusted chicken), and the food at Flame Tree Barbeque is smoked right there at the restaurant.

Resorts: I actually have 2 favorites here. My all-time favorite is Ohana for dinner. Peanut sauce is good on everything, and the bread pudding is to die for. My second choice is Artist Point at WL. The buffalo is great (I've heard the salmon is amazing, but I don't eat the stuff ;) ), and I could live off of the mushroom soup.

Downtown Disney: Lots of choices here no matter what kind of food you like, but I must say I always find myself at Earl of Sandwich. I get the origional (extra meat and horseradish), and some of the tomato soup. I hate tomato soup, but theirs is sooooo good.

I eat at way too many Disney restaurants in general, but these are my top ones. :thumbsup2
