I understand this show is not to be missed.
So is there a better time to catch it?
Any tips on where to sit?
How early to arrive?
We'll have 5 park days, using hoppers so we can work with whatever gives us the best chances

If there is an everything Aladdin thread I missed it so sorry if this is covered somewhere

Aladdin is our favorite show to catch in the afternoon and take a break from the heat. The theater is amazing and I really don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Even up high is fun because you get a bird's eye view of the stage (which has a lot of high vertical action as well as horizontal - does that make sense? lol) and you can see the flying features nicely. We've arrived about a half hour before show time and got to choose where we lined up (ask the CM's there for help figuring out what is what) and also walked in the last minute - both experiences were enjoyable. I'd probably choose the balconies or above personally (as opposed to the orchestra).

Perhaps others have more specific recommendations, but honestly I think this is an experience you can work into one of your days whenever it fits best rather than planning around it. That's one of the many reasons it's always a favorite!

I sat front row orchestra and loved it up there. Great view of the stage and what was going on below plus you could see the flying parts nicely. Higher up on the balcony I am not so sure you can see the action down on orchestra level that is going on outside of the stage. When down on orchestra level you only see the bottom of the flying attractions and not really what's going on on top. I would suggest balcony first or second row and you'll see everything :)

I agree with there is not a bad seat! WHen we saw it we happened to be walking by as people were heading into the building, so we joined the line and walked right in. Great show!

Have a magical time!

I like the view from the balcony better than the orchestra. There's a reason why -- you'll know when you see it!

Balcony is a great view. There are a lot of stairs to climb up and down if you choose balcony. It can be a chore if you have little ones.

I also prefer balcony. I've had seats in the orchestra and balcony sections and they were both great. The show is a nice escape from the afternoon heat. If you have the time and want to take a break, you could always see the show twice from different vantage points, as there are different things to see depending on where you sit. The dialogue also changes slightly depending on who is playing the genie.

I have waited for 30 minutes and also showed up just minutes before show time and both times was able to find seats that I was happy with.

the first time we saw it we were in the middle of the orchestra section and it was great. The last time we saw it we were in the very last row of the balcony cause my mom had a bad foot. Didn't think I would like the view from up there but I really did! We've never showed up more than 15 minutes before the show. There are always seats available it seems to me.

We got there a few minutes before the show started and ended up very near the back. It was GREAT! The view was fine, so don't worry about where you sit.

We watched it front 2 rows from the Right side (facing the stage). I believe they hold these seats for VIP guests, but you can always ask. My DD and her cousin got sooooo much attention during the parade part and you can see the whole show. LOVED it!

We had never bothered to go before but our VIP guide kinda made us and it was the best suggestion of the day. On my TR I give a quick overview but basically it's a great way to take a break during the day as a PP said. There are 3 different casts so you can see a slightly different show.

I would recommend 100%

My favorite is Orchestra front and center, but my kids prefer front of the balcony or mezzanine (just behind the front Orchestra.) Depends on whether you want to focus on the stage or on the "off-stage" performers.

Agree there is no bad seat.

We like to grab nachos to go from White Water Snacks and go sit in line for the show. We often arrive 30 to 45 minutes early, mostly so we can make sure we get our favorite seats. This probably isn't a great plan for most people because it is a ridiculous walk, but it works for us and our touring style. Hot dogs from Award Weiners would be far more practical.

We have sat on the orchestra floor and the balcony (the second level called the mezzanine) and both were great, but our favorite spot is on the orchestra entrance level, in the section behind the floor seats. We sit in the first row behind the little half wall which means no one can block our view. This section is close enough that we can see the details on stage, but far enough back that we can see the whole stage. We found that the orchestra seats were too close to see everything and the balcony too far to see many of the finer details on stage.

Wherever you sit, you'll love it. Just depends on how much time you want to invest.

We've really enjoyed orchestra on the front row of the second section. Great place to get some close up lovin' from the parade.
