Tips to share on not getting Covid while at WDW?

I have been to WDW a half dozen times since they reopened, most of the trips ten days in length, and I did not catch Covid. I am vaxxed and boosted and take vitamin supplements daily to make sure I give my immune system the best support I can. I have not changed my personal protocols at all, even for the trip I took last month. I mask indoors, mask on transportation, mask outdoors in crowds, use hand sanitizer and towelettes frequently (and before eating or drinking anything), and eat outdoors as much as possible. No one said a word to my face or gave me odd looks about the precautions I was taking.

I know there is a risk though, so I also pack plenty of OTC meds, fixings to make hot tea, a thermometer and an oximeter, so I will be prepared for the worst. I have been doing that since I was confined to my room at WL with the flu maybe 20 years ago, before the rooms had coffee makers. I was miserable, with no meds and nothing hot to drink. So now I go prepared for anything.

Great suggestion! We have carried meds, a thermometer, an oximeter, etc. when traveling for many years. I keep a special packing cube with these items in my carry on.

You do you. We went in May with no masks at WDW or on the flight. No wiping down the room or anything. Used Hand sanitizer a few times after leaving an attraction. We did not get covid.
