Tips to Manage Memory Maker: AP holders- any ideas?

I already had an AP but not the MM included, so all my pics appeared with the watermark on them. Once I got the new pass (and actually as soon as I paid for the renewal, which was almost 2 months before the pass expired), all the watermarks went away and I could download any of the pics, going back for a year (although I had deleted a lot of them in an attempt to speed up my account).

I thought you only had thirty days from the trip to download MM pictures. I guess that is different for AP holders?

Yes, you have until. Your pass expires to download all pictures. Has anyone been successful in getting the 30.00 cd of all pictures? I think that would be awesome!

I'd much rather spend my free time reading the dis boards, lol!

That's interesting - I hadn't thought it was an option. I just looked and it says it's open to anyone with a qualifying AP or memory maker. I agree - I might just do that once a year - it would be worth the $30 to not have to deal with all the downloading and then I could just have them clear it all then.

With nearly 2000 photos in our account and our third/final trip coming up in October, I was totally planning to do the CD download. I used to edit tons of photos and do backgrounds and stickers and different sizes - but at this point - I have stopped almost all of that. Ride photos and maybe 1-2 Photos is all I have customized out of the 2000 because its unmanageable. The download all is equally unmanageable because it creates so many folders to download which are hard to keep track of what you have done and you really can't just say 'Download All' and come back in an hour to have them on your laptop!!

Our trip ends October 11 and our APs end November 4th. Fingers crossed that we can do the CD!

I agree. I have tried a couple times to do the Download All and then the folders but somehow I end up with like numbers 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 & 13 or something when they appear. And they're not all there when I look. And there's no easy way to tell it to find #2 without doing another complete "ALL" download and then getting all different folders and a lot of overlap. I also no longer do the zooms and stickers and borders unless I'm doing them for someone who came to visit or there's something new (ie the new Frozen Ever After border for that ride). I have noticed they've taken away probably half to 2/3 of the available borders that used to be there maybe 2 years ago. Maybe that was bogging it down somehow too but it's disappointing to not have some of the older, more specific character, location & theme borders any more.

I called the photopass people and they said, yes, the cd option is available. That said, I like the idea of downloading after each trip, uploading to my google photos, then deleting everything on the account, and repeating the next trip.

My next trip ends about 20 days prior to my AP expiration. I'll just have to request the cd when I get back. Maybe I'll slowly edit some pictures over the next couple of months so it won't be so labor intensive.
