How do you all do it? Do you bring laptops with you? Pen and paper? A memory party involving everyone who went on the trip?
I would love to write a trip report, but I fear it would be boring as heck compared to alot of these. There is no way I can remember all the little tiny things that happened.
Some of the details here are amazing!

I use a passporter, carry it in my bag and make notes during "down" time. While waiting on line, riding the TTA, having lunch. I love to read and write trip reports. I keep mine with my scrapbook so I can re-live my trips. (just wish I had started sooner -- our honeymoon & 1st anniversary I took NO notes and remember very little of the details. :( )

I use an extra map to jot down what order we did things in. I also carry my Passporter around to jot things down in. But mostly, I just write things up and the end of the day.

Hi..

Don't stress over keeping notes.. etc.. you will be amazed what comes flooding back to you when you sit down to write your report.

You will start by saying something like.. Monday was MK day, and then the next thing you are remembering everything about that morning, where you went first, what you saw... where you ate... just take it one day at a time.

Also photos help, when you get your pictures developed and start looking at them you will remember tons of things.

You will do great!

I did a little bit of all of the above to help me....just figure out what will work best for you...good luck
