Tips to have a great time with CM's!

We were at POR last August and the Mousekeeping kept us going all week by arranging our girls stuffed animals in windows waiting for our return; at the sink as if washing up for the night; (our favorite) reading a map of the Magic Kingdom.
Truly made the end of each day special.

Thanks so much for the cards, as you can see we are going 2/20-2/27 & I wanted to use these as well! However I must be even less computer "savvy" than I knew b/c I cannot get them to print out as a card or just as the picture itself--I keep getting either the whole page of cards or the individual card w/ the entire web info! Any guesses on what I am doing wrong?!! Thanks again for doing the note cards-I am so jealous that you can do things like that! Deb

Do you use like "business size" cards or do they print on a bigger card like a 3X5? I love the idea and hope to use these on my up and coming trip. I do the mousekeeping, but never thought of the CM's. You guys are GREAT!

just wondering if anyone can help me out....I dont have a printer so I cant print out these great cards...what should I do?maybe just buy some cute postcards?I LOVE DOING things like this..I wanna surpise some CM's while there as well as mousekeeping(I am not gonna tell DH they sometimes do stuff like this..tehhehe,,he will be sooo surprised!!!).....thanks for the ideas......i know this sounds tacky and i dont intend for it to...but will it matter if we are staying at the Value resorts?I am not leaving notes.tips etc just to get a candy or toy display,,,i will leave it to make someones day BUT just curious,,,thanks!!!!!!!!!!

If you really want them badly enough, save them and take them to a copy store. Kinko's or something.

Save them to your desktop then save them onto CD or Floppy disk. Some Kinko's will allow you to email them to them.

We had breakfast at crt last aug. and we had the twins picture taken w/ our server!! She was really nice and seemed surprised that we asked.

If you right click and save the photos that will allow you to pick what size and how you want them printed out. I printed mine out on cardstock, it's a thick paper thats really popular for scrapbooking. I think I used a wallet sized setting for them. Hope that helps.

Hi!

The cards sound like a great idea! I just thought of another easy way to make "Thank you" cards without a printer! It would also be a thing for kids to do, so they can get into the Disney spirit before a trip!

Buy 5x7 inch unlined index cards, markers, and Disney stickers (they have a ton around...look in any stationery store). Write a little Thank You note on the card (you can get inspiration at Tagrel.com). You (or the kids) decorate the cards with Disney stickers, drawings and other fun embellishments.

I like the idea of making homemade cards that are a little more personalized. And for anyone who likes scrapbooking, this is a great way to enjoy your 'scrapping skills. Hope that helps!

We love interacting with cast members, and always make a point of getting our pictures taken with our favorites. They do seem genuinely surprised when we ask! Now that we have become "repeat" visitors, we work to seek out these cast members, particularly Louis, who works at the Dolphin gift shop. I'd say that my most magical moments are with cast members. I'm really looking forward to bringing some little gifts and thank you cards. I work for California State Parks, so I'm sure I can find some cute pins to give to my favorite CMs for a lasting memory!

Hmmm.... all wonderful ideas! I think I might buy some post cards from here in Seattle to write Thank You's on to leave for housekeeping. I bet I can find some Washington pins here before I go too, to pass out to anyone that makes an impression!

Thank you so much whoever posted the tip of asking servers for THEIR autograph. I started a scrapbook of my servers and I never thought to get their autograph for their page!!!!

We live right outside of Mobile Alabama. The ORIGINAL Mardi Gras occurred here, well before it started in New Orleans. With that in mind, I thought it would be really cool to take beads we received from some of our Mardi Gras parades with a laminated card attached with a message and our names. I thought it would be cool to give them something from our home to theirs. Plus, this is something they can immediately wear versus having to put it in their pockets or whatever.

I made the cutest thank you cards the other night (thank you, Kirsten, for the inspiration!) and when I showed my hubby he told me I have too much time on my hands!

Granted, he just didn't want to be represented by a frolicking pink Piglet, but STILL! I even made some for my mom (who won't understand either) to thank CM's for making her first trip magical. I'm gonna make my guests give back and be thankful whether they like it or not, goshdarnit!

Maybe if I make some for DH with Buzz on them ....
