My sister and I are flying down to Disney World in January for her 25th birthday. We will be coming from Michigan where it is normally artic cold (we are both praying for a mild winter!). I'm a bit concerned about going from the cold to where its warmer. The last time we went to Disney World in April 2005 we drove, but we both ended up getting sick towards the end, and were really sick once we got back to Michigan where it was 40 degrees! It had been 80-90 degrees in Orlando. I don't want that to happen again.
So for those here who go in winter, what do you do to avoid getting sick when going from one extreme to the other? I've heard of taking Airborne, but does that really work? I just don't want our trip to be spoiled by getting sick. We've done so much planning and it would stink to have it all ruined by getting sick.
So any tips/strategies are greatly appreciated!!!
