Hello Mousketeers,
Coming all the way from Canada and taking the chances to go on a cruise on Dream to the bahamas
With all those restrictions can someone tell me how the experience is now onboard

Can we still enjoy? We always do our family session photos onboard ( just heard has to be masked :( )
We just need a safe vacation and return home peacefully and fully charged

There are detailed trip reports you can read as well as several recent “just back” threads. If you have specific questions people here are happy to answer but it’s hard to know where to begin with just a question about “the experience” of cruising now.

"Enjoy" is such a relative term, especially these days. Some love the lower capacity/less crowds and amended experiences, others hate it and won't cruise until everything is back to normal (and many are somewhere in between those two). I second the suggestion to read trip reports to get a feel for things, and if you have specific questions you can ask them here. But just asking if you can still enjoy will likely lead to a lot of conflicting opinions that might not be helpful.

I cruised in November, not on DCL, but had a great time (Princess). I was considering a DCL cruise in February, but canceled due to financial reasons and concern over Omicron (I have my doctoral graduation ceremony a couple weeks after the cruise date, and if I were to catch Omicron on the cruise and not be able to attend my ceremony I would be crushed). So for me, I think the onboard experience would be enjoyable, it was just other factors that kept me from doing DCL at this time.

My Biggest drawback is that if someone catched the virus ( which is not the end of the world) we'll not be able to go back to canada in time for my work

Welcome back , how was the experience "Covid Wise"

We got off the Dream a week ago. It felt very safe and distanced. In my opinion, the two drawbacks of the restrictions were 1. wearing masks in pictures. If you bought the picture package, take as many as possible outside- no masks required on castaway or on the pool deck, where they took pictures by the Aquaduck, and 2. It was harder to socialize with other passengers, if that's something you enjoy.

great to hear , we wear masks all the time here is Canada so not a problem :)
My only disappointment is that we used to take annual photo sessions for our family every time and buy the photo pass to get them all
Ruining them with the masks ( although a different experience and memory) will sure affect the experience
