Hi all. I have a APs and usually go with my husband and two kids. I will be there again on March 20th with my kids and my mother. The little one is still in a stroller. However my mother has issues walking distances due to medical conditions. I know we can rent a wheel chair and the CMs advised to see the guest services services upon arrival to the park. Any tips on how to make it a great vacation?

Not sure how old she is, but if she could use an ECV, it would make the trip much easier on everyone.

We took my 80 year old Mother a few years ago. She was resistant to the wheelchair as she didn't want to feel older than she is. But after 2 hours at DHS (which is the small park) she agreed to the wheelchair. It worked out great and she enjoyed everything! Loved Soarin! She made sure she was out of the wheelchair for pictures (ha).

Have a great trip!

If she is able to use an ECV I WOULD RENT ONE OFFSITE FOR YOUR TRIP.dEPENDING ON WHAT RESORT YOU ARE STAYING AT THERE CAN BE A LOT OF WALKING JUST TO THE FOOD COURT. My husband needs a EVC while at disney he uses it at the resort as well as parks. It seems pretty easy to manuver and makes a huge differance in his enjoyment of the parks.

Thank you! Will definitely look into the ECV, she is 67. She also does not like the idea of a wheelchair but I will let her know an EVC or wheelchair will make it much better. We're staying at Caribbean Beach. ..Old Port Royale is definitely a drive from the room.
