get a fastpass. That is pretty much the only real way to make it painless. You can also try getting an early adr for be our guest and try and beat the rush to the standby line first thing in the morning.
The line for A&E closes a half hour before the park closes. On a recent visit, the posted wait time just before 11:30 pm was 90 minutes but the actual wait was less than 10. We still had time to ride 7D twice after visiting the princesses before the park closed. The posted wait for 7D was 65, but the actual waits were 20 & 10.
We felt that A&E + 7D x2 in just over a half hour was a very efficient use of our time and probably better results than could be obtained any other time of day.
I wasn't able to get a FP for Anna & Elsa for our trip in October. It was already "sold out" even at midnight of my 60 day window. I'm hoping the standby line will be shorter during MNSSHP.

We got an 8 am ADR at Crystal Palace and then DH left with DD as soon as he saw people starting to leave. I caught up with them on line after I left DS with his grandparents and we made it through the whole line in 25 minutes.
