hi all
i'm looking for tips on pop century
i'm going next march with a friend and her kids i stayed at ASMovies last time but this time i want to stay at PC i think we should request the perfered building she dosn't want to. i'm thinking we will find it easyer to be closer to everything. she thinks it will be a waste of money and to noisey near that building. has anyone stayed there and what was your favorite building and why. i should mention my daughter has ADHD and although she is very good natured and loving she does get harder to handle when shes tired when we stayed at the ASM we got bumped up to the peferred building i was very happy to be so close to my building at the end of day when she was the most tired. i was wondering does it even matter are the buildings close enough to have it not matter? let me no what you think thanks. i would also love to hear what you think of the hotel itself :confused3 princess: :smooth:

Pop CENTURY is great!!! We stayed in the 50's building and loved it. It was pretty close to the main building and even the short walk was really nice because there was lots of things to look at.

We stayed at POP in February and personally I prefer the all stars. We were in the 70's building and it was a bit of a hike to the bus stop which was always packed. I would pay the extra $10 for the preferred building if I went again. The buses only run that hotel but the hotel is so big there are tons of people waiting to get on and with my 4 year old ds that wasn't always fun. That was my only problem with the hotel the theming was wonderful. We never had that much of a problem when we stayed at the all stars. I have stayed at the all stars 5 times, POP once and POR once. I know alot of people love POP but it just isn't for me. POR was a bit pricier but to be honest it was worth the difference in price. It is a large complex but there are 4 bus stops, a refrigerator in your room, two sinks, a privacy drape that can be pulled between the dressing room and the bedroom just to name a few of the extras.

I stayed at POP in February this year.. and it was my first stay in a Value resort.. I usually stay at the Deluxe resorts.. and I have to tell you that I absolutely LOVED POP. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I did have a rental car.. and I used it more often than the busses.. When I did ride the bus, I didn't find it unbearable.. but... it was much more convenient to me to drive everywhere... I stayed in the 70's building..and I didn't find it a far walk at all to the main building... the Food court at POP is one of the best on property... great selection.. just be sure to check back in the refrigerated section for many more choices of food... I found some healthier options back there.. salads/wraps/etc/ so... it is not only what is at the hot food stations.... there is a great arcade also.. and the pools were quite a bit of fun... enjoy...
