My boys are hoping to meet Kylo Ren. Anyone have tips on how early to line up and whether his hours are always the same?

Another on our wish list is meeting Gaston. His hours look limited. How soon do people line up?

I don't think Kylo is too tough to meet, about a 30 minute wait is what I've been hearing. Gaston, I've just been in the right place at the right time for him because we are generally towards the front.

Haven't met Kylo Ren, but I have met Gaston. Lots of people want to meet Gaston, it is always an awesome character interaction. So I recommend getting in line like 10 -20 minutes before he is scheduled to come out. Enjoy one of his cinnamon buns while waiting in line!!

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away
Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, BB-8, Darth Maul and more recreate famous movie vignettes right before your eyes.
15-minute show at Center Stage
12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 4:30, 5:30 & 6:30pm

I have heard its usually 20 minutes for Kylo Ren and 30 for Chewbacca

We have met Gaston twice because we happened to be in the area and lined up when we saw people hovering. It was probably 30 min before his appearance. He seems to spend a lot of time bantering so the line moves slowly.

Gaston is great! I try to go early when he first opens cause it's not too sunny hot in the waiting area. Each time his interaction has been hilarious! We even enjoy just hanging near the front to watch him with other folks.

I know your kids will love it, but be aware that meeting Kylo Ren is intense WAY different than normal meet and greets. It's fun and yet scary at the same time.

When we meet Gaston his line closed off about 15 minutes or so before he was due to come out. So get in line early.

For any characters that don't have a continual meet and greet, like the princesses or mickey, I usually ask the CM at the end of their line when the next set is going to be. Then we come back before that next set and get in line.

This may change as they switch to the new fireworks show, but - if you aren't concerned with finding the best spot early on for SW fireworks - my family found ~8:30 to be a great time to zip through the SW meets. We got in line for Toy Story at 8:15 right before they closed the line for fireworks prep and waited 10 minutes to ride. After that we walked over and waited no more than five minutes each for Chewie and Kylo Ren. We traded with the Jawas, posed for pictures with passing Stormtroopers, and were still out in time to view the fireworks.

My daughter and I waited 15 minutes to meet Kylo Ren last Thursday night (5/12); and 20 minutes to meet Chewie; it was around 8:00 p.m. Perhaps the Force was with us that evening! Or perhaps on a week night, HS is less crowded.

Also on a Thursday afternoon last August, we waited a little over 30 minutes to meet Gaston, but entirely worth it... "he's a tall, dark, strong, and handsome brute!"

I personally find the parks to be less crowded on weekdays.

Sign up for Disney Visa, and go to the Visa Kylo Ren M&G and just walk on. Gaston was awesome. Wife waited like 45 minutes in the hot sun for Gaston (our longest wait by far), but he was worth it. Got great pictures of my DD5 with him.
