Tips on meeting characters

I used the search option, but it was difficult to pan thru all the posts and find what I am looking for. I really want the kids to be able to meet alot of characters and we are not going to to a character meal....any tips on where's, when's, and who's......I personally would like to meet capt. Jack ....does he frequent the parks???

If you want to meet Capt. Jack you'll have to travel by raft to Tom Sawyer Island. He is usually lounging by his overflowing treasure chests.
And if you do meet him, make sure to keep an eye on your stuff, he is an excellent pickpocket

Mickey and his friends are usually at Main Street between 9:00am to 11:30 then you can usually find them at their houses or roaming the streets of ToonTown. Cinderella will make a few GRAND appearances in the front of Sleeping Beauty's castle. It'll be easy to tell when she is coming because a ton of announcers (dressed in rennaisance garb) will toot some horns and have announce that she is arriving.

If you go to that big archway by the Golden Dreams, you can meet characters there. Last October we met the mean stepmother, Anastasia, Drusella, Jafar, Capt Hook, and the Old Hag. Running around outside that area was the bowler hat dude from Meet the Robinsons. We've also bumped into the Queen of Hearts there. Of course this was in October when they were calling it the Golden Screams show, so it was a "villian area".

On the main street over by the animation studios and on the way to TOT(does that make sense?) we have met JoJo and Goliath, 3 of the Little Einsteins, Winnie the Pooh, and Mr. Incredible.

We also enjoy character meals to help cut down wait time in long lines in the park. DD loves to meet each and every character so the meals are great for that.
