Our ressie is for a preferred site. We don't need cable, but proximity to marina, park busses is a real plus for us. We will have a large tent and a 25ft Class C.

I'm not a type A person in any aspect of my life except for Disney trips, and I really, really, really want a site that is surrounded by trees or just set apart from neighbors as much as possible. I have seen pictures of sites that are so wooded and secluded you would think there was nothing else around, and I have seen pictures of sites that are so lacking in trees and space between sites that they look like parking lots, with awnings creeping closely to neighbors.

I have browsed loops on the picture thread and I am not really leaning toward any particular loop, just want something as I described.

Should I cross my fingers and wish for the best? Or should I make a request? If I make a request, when do I make it and how? By phone? How should I word it?

Thanks for any help you can offer. My WDW-OCD is acting up today and my stash of Mickey's Coconut Patties is diminished, so I'm being a WDWorrywart today.

:)

The 100 loop does not have alot of trees, the 200 loop has a little more, but not alot. The 300 and 400 loop have alt more trees.

Here's what we do sometimes. We park in the big parking lot and go into the main lobby to check in. Then we unhook our tow car and drive to our site to check it out. If we want something better, we drive around until we find a few vacancies, then call the front desk to see if we can switch to one of them. The front desk has always been very cooperative about that. They want you to be in a site you like. Our experience is that most of the sites are well-treed and well spaced. Good luck.

That is the same thing we do. They are very good about letting you move to another site if it is not occupied.

Get Out! :cool2: They don't have a problem with that? :woohoo:

That is a great tip! :cloud9: Thanks for sharing! :rotfl:

Everybody has their own opinion of what the perfect site is. :crazy2:

Our last trip we got pine pitch all over our truck so we are not looking for trees this time. :magnify:

That's a great idea!
