Just thought a thread that contained useful tips on tackling the cold/rain /snow on trips to Disneyland in the Winter months might be of help to us all.
I'll start.
1. Wear tights under your Jeans.
2. Buy thermal vest from Peacocks (mens, ladies and childrens at cheap prices)
3. Thermal socks a must.
4. Double layer your gloves.
5. Borrow the shower cap from the hotel just in case you get an unexpected shower whilst at the park.
6. For ladies who 'dont do hats' try earmuffs instead. But those who do (like my Mum) fake fur is the warmest.
7. Take a small thermal blanket for children to sit on when viewing any outside shows ie. Stunt show. The seats are concrete and VERY cold.
We had one particularly cold day last December (almost too cold to go out). My DD8 face was red with the cold so I used her scarf to wrap around the lower half of her face and ears, covered it will her hat and then put her hood up. She looked a little like a polar bear but was as warm as toast. You can view the funny looking person here.
