I have done thorough research
FPs--CHECK
Touring plans--CHECK
Daily rope drop--CHECK
Drifit shirts, socks, shorts, walking shoes--CHECK
Frogg Toggs--CHECK
Yes it will be hot. (we have been week of Labor Day so figure comparable--and we find there is lots of shade, misters, indoors w/ A/C that it really doesn't bother us--or maybe it is because it is hot & humid much of our summer at home too)
Yes it will be busy, particularly over the weekend, but hopefully FPs/Touring Plans/Rope drop will help (we have done all that every trip & while they balked originally, they realize this minimizes wait times & allows them to do MORE)
Any personal experience? Tips?
Flying out tomorrow!!!

This is my 3rd time starting a Disney trip on Memorial weekend. As long as you have a plan you're waaaaay more prepared than the vast majority of guests. We take breaks and leave the parks around the hottest part of the day (somewhere between 1-5pm) for at least a few hours. It's not, but not July hot. We love this week for our Disney vacay!! Hope you have a blast!!
