Tips for those long DVC stays?

We just returned from a l-o-n-g stay. May 24- June 20. With all of those days DVC, except for the last 5 nites...then it was Royal Pacific at Universal.

We never ran out of things to do (and we have been multiple times per year for the last 6 years.)

Everything was at a slower pace. Some days were started leisurely with huge breakfast buffets that the kids enjoyed. Lot of swimming and really getting into the pool activities for kids. Also, the kids took part in lots of the DVC Community Hall activities, like ceramics and loved it. They played several different minigolf courses and spent a large part of one day at DisneyQuest. Watch the movies on the beach at BCV, rented DVDs, participated in Disney Discovery Club and campfire and fishing at Vero Beach. After AKL Concierge, we moved to BWV, then BCV, then Vero and later we visited SeaWorld, and Kennedy Space Center, Vero Beach and Universal and of course Downtown Disney and the new T-Rex.
The Kim Possible missions can take up half a day and Epcot Innoventions had lots of "new" additions.

And would you believe, there were still some things we did not get to!

Hey! We'll also be staying with DVC from August 8 - 21. We'll be at our beloved OKW 2br for that entire time. Our plans are to do parks on five of those days, go to a couple of water parks, drive out to the space coast on August 18 to see a shuttle launch, do some mini golf, do Downtown Disney, bum around the resort pool, maybe do a bit of pool hopping one day, and eat.

That will make for a full 12 days.
