So my parents are taking DS (3) and Dneph(3) for FD in September. Staying at All Star Movies.I'm trying to compile a list of tips to give them. No itineraries, just good places to eat, places to stand for parades and fireworks (thanks Robo!!!), and all around things not to overlook. Here is my list so far: Movie night at All Star resorts: call resort to find times. Movies are shown at the pool area at All Star Music Hall of Presidents should be reopened, but Space Mountain is closed for refurbishment. Characters are tucked in side streets (Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Capt. Jack Sparrow - Adventureland) at MK and in the World Showcase in EP (Mary Poppins, princesses). We watched Wishes fireworks from the Tomorrowland bridge, but if you go on a night where Spectromagic is running before Wishes, youll have to find a spot where you can see both. There are Baby Care Centers at each park but I doubt youll need them. Good CS places to eat: AK Pizzafari, Flame Tree BBQ - EP: Sunshine Seasons MK: Pinocchio Village Haus, Caseys, Columbia Harbor House There is a little show at Rope Drop at AK and MK at the park opening each day. Train doesnt run during fireworks or parades at MK. Pooh and Tigger greeting spot is across from Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (Fantasyland old Toad ride). And it gets bumpy so be careful Snow White ride may be a little much for the boys Some people cover the automatic sensor (with post its) on the toilets for little kids I guess the automatic flusher can frighten some kids. Boys will be able to drive the Indy cars, you and dad will have to push the pedals though Boys will be okay on the Safari at AK. Again, its bumpy in places so be careful. The boys will have to sit in the middle of you two. What am I forgetting? I know there is TONS! FYI, they're going for 5 days and NOT going to DHS.
